Great Place
The Cottage but the Beach was the perfect location. Quiet and very comfortable within an easy walk to Cook Street Village and James Bay. It had all the amenities and was well kept. Right across the street were miles of walkways and Beacon Hill Park was just a block away. Highly recommended.

Loved Our Stay
We stay here for 1 week and found it to be the perfect location for our vacation. It was very walkable to anything we needed, restaurants, grocery, downtown or just a peaceful walk through the beautiful Beacon Hill Park. It sure beats staying in a cramped and expensive hotel room. Perfect getaway in Victoria
The cottage has been modernized with the finest materials and with a delightful floor plan that has the bedroom set off from the living area but not in a separate room. My wife and I found it most comfortable, and we loved the location, a few steps from Dallas Rd (views of the Strait and the Olympics) and two blocks from an entrance to Beacon Hill Park (twenty or so minutes by foot to the great Museum). There are many places to eat on Cook St., and a superb supermarket (Thrifty) is also nearby. Add to all of this a most responsive manager, and you have a perfect place to stay in Victoria. We had a marvelous week.

We live in the main house on the property (the Cottage is just behind our house). We fell in love with the property and the neighbourhood and can't believe we get to live in this amazing place. We spend our time walking along the beach in front of the house, walking to the nearby shops, and taking our little one to nearby parks.

Why they chose this property

The most incredible location in the City - right by the beach and Beacon Hill Park and a short walk to all the amenities of Cook St Village.

We also love the blend of heritage architecture and modern convenience.
