Relaxing and wonderful family vacation
Our week at The Barn was outstanding! We lucked out with beatiful weather which let us really get the most out of Rust Pond and all that The Barn had to offer. We kayaked, fished, swam, and floated. The house exceeded our expectaions and accommodated our family perfectly as we cooked some delicious meals inside and out on the grill, played games, read and simply enjoyed some quality family time with a peaceful and gorgeous view.

Wonderful Memories Made
This is a fabulous spot - both the house and the location. Would certainly return! My only critique would be the condition of the non-stick pots and pans. They're terribly scratched and as we are now aware, that's a health hazard. Luckily, our friends picked up two pots for us to use on their way. If you're there in the summer, go to East of Suez for dinner!

Charming "Barn" close to Wolfeboro
The Barn was a wonderful spot for a week long family vacation. The owners have maintained the charm of lakeside living without compromising comfort or cleanliness. The house has everything you could need, including nightlights (if you travel with kids, you know how important this can be), and plenty to keep an entire family entertained in case of dreary weather. On sunny days we enjoyed playing in the pond (the stairs off the dock were great - it allowed our kids to easily get in and and out of the water) and the proximity to Wolfeboro, while still be peaceful, is hard to beat. The outside grill was perfect for dinner and the kitchen had everything we could have needed for cooking. Chris provided everything we needed well before check-in, including an up to date welcome packet with listings for restaurants, grocery stores, parks, and local attractions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Magical Christmas
The Barn on Rust Point was the perfect setting for celebrating Christmas with our 93-year old dad. The two-story stone fireplace with a roaring fire provided the perfect setting for sharing family stories, putting together a puzzle, and opening Christmas gifts. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare gourmet meals. The sunrise over Rust Pond is a perfect way to start the day. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Paradise!
What beautiful home, location and the best host! The house was everything in the photos and more! Very well equipped and comfortable. The location was close to everything. The host was amazing and answered all my dumb questions with patience and more information that I could have hoped for. Even the neighbors were lovely people. I would go back in a minute and hope to next summer. Thanks Chris for everything!

I grew up in New England, spent a lot of my summers in New Hampshire and later attended college at nearby St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. I'm happy to be able to spend my free time in the Lakes Region whenever possible and also share it with my family & friends!

Why they chose this property

After living in a few different different places in the US and more than 12½ years in Asia, I love spending time in the New Hampshire Lakes Region whenever I can, making and sharing memories with my family & friends!

What makes this property unique

A uniquely designed house with all the comforts and conveniences of home on Rust Pond, a 239 acre, spring-fed lake with a maximum depth of 42 feet at the center that's great for swimming, small boats and fishing!
