Ker Coulinec is the name that you discover at the entry to this marvelous house. Coulinec is the little island that you see when looking through the first floor windows (and Ker just means house in Breton). Nothing is between you and the sea while relaxing in a room beautifully decorated with taste in maritime style. Even the floor reminds you of a boat with its white painted wooden planks.
The house is in all respects perfectly equipped: the kitchen holds everything you need for cooking and feeding even a bigger crowd (we were only two), the terrace in front is at the same time huge and protected. On sunny days (yes, they exist in Britanny) you can relax on a deckchair.
The possibilities for leisure activities are phantastic with a 60 km long path running along the coastline and starting in front of the house. Also in front, just a few steps down, you find a beautiful sandy beach, called (rightly so) "Les sables blancs" which is very inviting for a swim in the evenings.
And finally when it comes to feeding outside as you might be too lazy for cooking: there is plenty of good to excellent restaurants in the village of Treboul and even more in Douarnenez.
Thus, the place is perfect for discovering the most beautiful part of Britanny, which is called the End of the World (Finistere).
