About this property

Total Seclusion, 50 Private Acres, 2000 Ft Riverfront, Mountain Cabin, Hot Tub

Total Seclusion and Privacy, No Neighbors or Public Roads, Riverfront Cabin, Dog Friendly

Patrons say Harmony Lodge feels like Shangri-La with its quietness, serene beauty, total privacy and seclusion, no neighbors, and the only road is the private Harmony Lodge road. This is an amazing beautiful locale where motion pictures are made. You have discovered the perfect getaway near Stevens Pass to inspire your mind and soul.

There is a large hot tub on the deck with stunningly beautiful view of the river and forest and Mt. Index. There is also a firepit above the river. Harmony Lodge is fully equipped and furnished, so all you need to bring is change of clothes and food to prepare in the full-size modernized kitchen or on the propane BBQ over the river with propane provided. There is electric heat, and wood burning fireplaces that add beauty and charm. Firewood is provided.

Accommodation highlights are unlimited wifi, music system, telephone land line, a flat screen TV, Blu-ray/dvd player, an outdoor firepit above the river, and a hammock at the river edge. In the modern bathroom for your convenience is body soaps, towels, and hair dryer. If you wish to dine out, nearest restaurant is a 10 minute drive.

Harmony Lodge is nestled in a forested valley above 2,000 feet of Index Creek that dances in waterfalls over river boulders in the middle of 50 privately owned acres. The property goes up the side of a mountain, up the side of another mountain, and up and down the valley. The view from the deck and the floor-to-ceiling windows of the mountains and forested valley, river with sparkling waterfalls, and huge sky is magnificent with Mt. Index at one of the valley and Mt. Baring at the other end. Harmony Lodge was designed in 1929 by a renowned architect as a hunting lodge for senators and was used for this purpose until the 1960s, when it was purchased by someone who owned it until the mid 1990s. The current owner is now sharing this preserved facility and land with you.

There is large view deck above the river with comfortable chairs, propane BBQ and propane provided, and picnic table.

There are wonderful private trails on this property leading to waterfalls and cozy coves at the water edge. Patrons says their dogs leap in the air with delight with their freedom on the trail. Swim in swim holes, fish for trout at Harmony Lodge. Observe the salmon valiantly swimming upstream. Also, at nearby Skykomish River, you can fish from the shore or fly-fish, boat and swim, and walk the shore of the Skykomish.

Harmony Lodge is 1,000 square feet, so there is lots of room to stretch out and relax with corners to get cozy in the furniture and enjoy the views from the various sides of the house.
In the Harmony Lodge bedroom, there is antique furniture and a cozy queen size bed in a magnificent bed frame with scrolled posts, and this bed overlooks the cascading creek and forested mountains and sky. In the Harmony Lodge 325 square foot great room, there are 2 couches on separate sides of the room near floor-to-ceiling windows, that fold out to double size beds with deluxe 11-1/2 inch mattresses, and a chair that folds out to a child bed also with an 11-1/2 inch mattress. There is also a teak room divider for added privacy.

Children age 24 months and younger stay for free.

Your dog is welcome. We allow 2 dogs per reservation; when you reserve, note the first dog in the Pet Fee field and note the second dog in the Administrative Fee field.

Harmony Lodge is available year round. We book nightly, weekends, and weekly. Our patrons say they do not want to leave, and we want you to have this wonderful one of a kind experience. Come, have fun and relax in nature. We encourage you to reserve now to ensure you get the dates you want. We welcome you.

Harmony Lodge completely sanitizes and disinfects as part of cleaning between reservations..

Quote by Destination360: “The Harmony Lodge is a great example of a Washington cabin rental. Harmony Lodge is set in a wooded valley, and 50 acres of private land wrap you in privacy and isolation. There is an [2,000 foot] area of the Index creek that also belongs to the cabin, so you have this area for your own use. This is one of the more secluded rental cabins that Washington has, so you get the freedom and seclusion that people who come to enjoy Washington State travel will seek out.”

Ideal Private Cabin Weekend
This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway from city life! Surrounded by beautiful nature and in total isolation, the cabin is a picturesque vacation spot for relaxation and peacefulness. We took advantage of the fireplace, the hot tub, gorgeous nature views, and the extensive VHS collection. The ideal weekend getaway spot for a couple or small group. So cozy! Will be returning again! Huge thanks to Rita for her constant communication and ease of directions.

Great getaway!
We had a belss as Ted anniversary trip and wanted to get away from the busyness of things. This was the perfect setting and cabin! Couldn’t get enough of the rushing creek! We loved the cozy cabin with its large windows looking out over both directions of the creek. My husband was a big fan of the hot tub as well. We’ll be back. Our hosts were easy to contact, and made our stay relaxing by having plenty of information around the cabin to make sure we operated things like the pellet stove, old stone fireplace, and the hot tub properly and without any issues. Thanks for a wonderful getaway where we were able to reset!

Fabulous
A lovely peaceful and relaxing stay at this property . Loved hearing the creek; being surrounded by trees and seeing the mountain tops when it wasn’t cloudy. We really enjoyed exploring nearby and did some wonderful hiking. Definitely would stay here again.

Magic in the mountains
This cabin is magical. It’s a nod to a slower pace of life from 1929. The smells, the sounds, will put you at ease. The hot tub is nice but older and jets aren’t the best but it heats and is relaxing. The one hot tub pic on the listing isn’t quite accurate for its placement but still amazing views and relaxation. And the VHS collection - pIease add to this, it was a nice throw back. Loved going back in time.
