Very cozy!

  • 4 of 5

Very nice cabin! Loft area very nice but a little warm during the night. The box fan did help. The internet wifi was not working. Other than that it was clean, comfortable and cozy! Hot tub felt great!!

October Stay

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely time in the cabin. Was just the right size for my fiancé , 9 year old, and myself. Nicely decorated and equipped and awesome location right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Would definitely recommend and return.

Pristine Cabin

This cabin was absolutely pristine and clean! Fits all descriptions perfectly, and felt very much at home. Jodi was great to work with as well. All in all would recommend this cabin!

Just like the pictures

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience in booking a cabin through VRBO. After reviewing many properties listed we decided on Honeybear Hideaway. The one negative that we read about was the narrow winding road the last part of the drive. This proved to be not an issue. We never encountered another car on the road and there were plenty of driveways you could have pulled into to allow a vehicle to pass. The cabin was exactly like the pictures posted on VRBO. Very clean and well maintained. We did encounter an issue with a broken toilet when we arrived but Jodie had it repaired. The description on VRBO wasn't clear but there are actually 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. We really wished we had more time to spend at the cabin but with all there is to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg we really didn't get to enjoy the cabin as much as we had thought we would. This cabin was perfect for two people and could even handle 4 very comfortably. The Old Mill was a great place to eat. We did breakfast and dinner there and also enjoyed their sister restaurant across the street (Pottery House). If you have the time while there take the drive through the Smoky Mountains to Asheville, NC and visit the Biltmore Estate. Well worth the trip. We did the trolley in Gatlinburg and it isn't the best run operation that it could be. Long lines to board the trolley with no lineup system. People just push their way in. Long waits for tolleys is also common. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy our first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains!

Peaceful and private, yet close to everything

  • 5 of 5

My sons and I enjoyed the cabin and everything it had to offer. Peaceful and private, yet close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains (20 minutes or less). Everything provided with the cabin exceeded my expectations and made for a great time. This was a very memorable father-son trip, and what it cost to rent this cabin was worth every penny. I would stay here again.

Simply Amazing!!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was awesome! The initial trip up the mountain was a bit scary at first but well worth it. The trip got easier each time. We had everything we needed during our stay. The décor and surroundings were beautiful. The bed super comfy! My kids and I loved just hanging out playing pool and grilling at night. Everything is near by as far as attractions and such. We enjoyed river rafting while on our vacation. I can not express enough how much of a great time we had and how much we loved this cabin. It was very clean, I would definitely recommend. The owner was very prompt with any answers to questions we had. MapQuest was the only GPS that would find the address for us and it worked well. We used it to find the cabin and to get around town, it was super easy. All in all according to my kids , the best vacation they have had and trust me we have been on many! For sure will be back!
