About Eric

I enjoy rehabilitating cabins to their former glory, some need more attention to detail than others. In the end, I hope that you will enjoy the cabin and it's part of Estes Park history. Please view my other VRBO listings in beautiful Estes Park; 962070, 694192, 877886.

Why Eric chose Estes Park

I have been coming to Estes Park ever since I can remember, and now I have the chance to preserve a bit of it's history. My wife fell in love with this cabin and the rest is history!

We have refurbished this 1923 cabin to it's original grandeur. Previously, only a part-time summer residence. It was definitely a labor of love. Built on acreage originally purchased from the Ferguson Ranch, an original Estes Park Homestead. We have enjoyed learning the history of the original Estes Park Pioneers.

The BEST Mountain Views from the cabin's enclosed porch can make the minutes melt into hours!

We hope that you enjoy staying here as much as we do!

Cozy, clean cabin conveniently located near RMNP

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay with our 2 year old. Cabin was clean and charming, and owner was very responsive. When we weren’t outside exploring, we were soaking up the daylight on the cozy enclosed porch with its mountain views.

Fantastic cabin minutes from RMNP

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay over spring break weekend. This cabin has everything needed including lots of towels, soft throws, spices and cooking utensils. Views are beautiful, especially after early morning snowfall. They provided a pack n play for our toddler to sleep in and booster seat for eating. We will definitely be back!

Rustic but clean.

  • 5 of 5

We came to Estes on a girls weekend, the three of us fit comfortably in this cute cabin. I love to cook and was very impressed with utensils that we're provided. The kitchen/cooking area is small but doable. Check out the pantry *behind the open kitchen door for extras! There is an enclosed porch/sun room that adds extra space that would be better used during warmer temps. There is a cute wood burning fire place in the main room. Be sure to stop for firewood before you arrive as it is not provided. We enjoyed the Netflix and the wifi connection was great! I had good and quick communication with the owner. Lastly it is nice to have a blanket while watching movies, they are located on the front porch.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is perfect in location and a great getaway. We had deer walking passed the windows and a herd of Elk circling the cabin. The views of the mountains are fabulous.

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely cabin! The highlights for us were the wood burning fireplace and the beautifully wood paneled walls and ceilings. The location was perfect - close to RMNP. We were very comfortable in this cozy and spacious cabin. Thank you!

Lighting was a bit dim - but we managed ok

Great Cabin with character and modern upgrades

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay! Warm and cozy cabin, well supplied kitchen, and close to town. The front porch is lovely with great sunlight and overall it’s very quiet at night. The beds are more on the softer side than firm, but still very comfy. We would definitely stay here again. Eric was easy to work with and very responsive.
