La Longère a Broue is a spacious, five bedroomed, 18th Century farmhouse situated on the edge of a peaceful hamlet. Offering a blend of contemporary design and authentic period features. It’s comfortably equipped with quality furniture and appliances throughout. With a private pool and enclosed gardens, it’s an ideal peaceful family holiday in the glorious French countryside.
We can cater for all ages, providing cots and high chairs for babies.
The layout is good for the Grandparents especially if stairs are an issue. See the floor plan in photo section.

60th Birthday Celebration in rural France
We had a fantastic family holiday to celebrate a 60th birthday. The Longere was perfect and suited all our needs. The location suited our group of 3 generations. It was so peaceful. Special mention to Alex and Anita for making the surprise 60th work so well. It was a truly memorable day. The pool was brilliant, safe for our grandchildren and everyone else. Highly recommended holiday rental.

Très belle grande maison au milieu des champs, très bien aménagée et fonctionnelle, grand jardin
Maison spacieuse, très propre, très bien aménagée et décorée, fonctionnelle avec différents espaces de vie extérieurs et intérieurs adaptés pour de grands groupes. La maison est bien équipée (dehors et dedans) pour rendre le séjour agréable et tranquille. Beau et grand jardin avec les champs autour et les animaux de la ferme. Accueil sympathique des propriétaires très discrets mais présents si besoin.

Heerlijke rust
Het huis is zeer ruim met voldoende slaapkamers en badkamers. Een heerlijk terras en leuk zwembad is er ook. In deze streek,is weinig te zien, je moet al ver rijden om een grote stad te kunnen bezoeken. Ondanks het mindere weer hebben we toch een heerlijke vakantie gehad

We bought the house in 2007 as our family home and have spent several years restoring many of the original features. Our family have now grown up and left home so we want to give other people the opportunity to stay in our beautiful home and enjoy a relaxing holiday in the quiet French countryside. We live in a small dwelling on the property, so we’re on hand should you need assistance during your stay and welcome families (although young children will need constant supervision in the garden and pool area). We have a small family dog so unfortunately we cannot accept pets.

What makes this property unique

The property benefits from large reception rooms that remain cool in the long hot summers. The third reception room is a great space for the children with books, games and dvd’s. The kitchen is equipped with granite worktops, high quality appliances and plenty of room for cooking with a large dining table for all our guests. French doors lead to the patio for barbeques and outdoor dining. English TV is available in the lounge, and there is wifi throughout the house.
