About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2 Private Cabin In Banff

Have you ever wanted your own cabin in the mountains? This is your chance to experience the beauty of Banff National Park while enjoying the comfort of your private cabin. The cabin is centrally located 2 blocks from downtown Banff with its bustling main street lined with great shopping, restaurants and bars. It is set in the backyard of an original Banff heritage house dating back almost one hundred years.

The warm wood interior of the cabin is an inviting place to rest after a day of hiking or skiing in the mountains. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and Jacuzzi tub, for relaxing after an active day, as well as an adjoining living area with a futon. There is a kitchenette with a small bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker that is perfect for having breakfast or packing a lunch before your day of activity. Several enticing restaurants to fit every price range are to be found nearby. Contained within the cabin is a private bathroom with shower. Outside the cabin, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the sunny deck or use the barbeque that is provided.

Shuttle buses to the 3 major ski hills in the area (Lake Louise, Sunshine and Norquay) leave from nearby. Public transit buses within Banff and to Canmore have stops near the cabin.

Magical snowy getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was perfect for two of us to enjoy for half of a week while exploring the national park. Very cozy to come home to after a day of snow tromping and ice skating. Ross was a great host, the cabin was very clean, and had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back!

Clean cosy cabin close to downtown

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is small but fit two adults well enough. The spa bath was great & actually big enough for two comfortably. Warm & the bed is good.

Thanks for having us!!

It was exactly what we wanted, quiet and cozy and close to everything

  • 4 of 5

We wanted something that was nestled into town but not with all the tourist stuff. Cozy and quiet and still walking distance onto Banff ave. Perfect little spot for two.

Just right for us

  • 4 of 5

The country cabin is indeed cozy. It is not fancy or large yet it was just right for the two of us and as affordable as you could find in Banff. Basic kitchen amenities allowed us to heat and prepare some breakfasts and lunches for ourselves. The small TV allowed us to watch the Grey Cup game. We were able to bring our skis inside to keep them safe. The dedicated parking spot was essential and appreciated. And the best part was the jacuzzi tub each evening after a day of hiking or skiing. Our only concern was only two bath towels available yet this was quickly remedied by the owner who brought us enough for the week. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

This is a terrific place for an intimate stay in Banff. The owners are great and very welcoming. Clean place with enough room to move about and has all the amenities you will need for your stay. The tub is delightful and very relaxing. Close walk to downtown. Great wildlife right outside the door, beautiful area. I would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone who is traveling.
