First solo holiday
Just me and my dog on this trip. What a gorgeous cottage, absolutely perfect in every way. Fantastic location for local walks or exploring south Devon. The cottage is extremely well equipped, very comfortable and the private courtyard is fabulous for catching the sun or relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of wine. Great hosts, afternoon tea waiting for me on arrival! I hope to be back!

Little gem.
Charming village with plenty of nearby pubs with good food. The cottage is full of luxury touches...beautiful bed/bath and linens in large spacious upstairs. Kitchen is well equipped and cosy living accommodation. Welcome scones and daffs are a lovely touch.

Zwei weitere Pubs in 15, bzw.

Fantastic short break in a lovely cottage
Lovely cottage that had all we needed foe a great few days away. I loved the fact that the bed and linen was of great quality which I think is really important in a holiday let. Two minute walk to a really nice pub

We live at Brooking which adjoins Pearses Cottage,I am a physio now retired and William who is Cornish was a farmer and now helps out on other peoples farms. We have four children grown up and living away from home. Living next to the cottage means that we are on hand for advice suggestions and any help that is needed.

Why they chose this property

Ashprington is a very pretty village in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage was originally one of a row of three, now the only one remaining, it has been sympathetically renovated, keeping its charm whilst also providing very comfortable accommodation. Both the house and the cottage were lived in by members of Alison's family when the whole village belonged to the nearby Sharpham Estate. Pearse's is perfect for both a winter and summer, a woodburner/central heating keeping you cosy. There are many lovely walks straight out of your door, and three pubs within walking distance.

What makes this property unique

If a quiet peaceful stay with a choice of walks, the attractions of Totnes, South Hams, nearby Dartington Hall, next door Sharpham or close by good pubs are what you are looking for then this is your perfect cottage. Or how about staying put with a drink by the woodburner!
