This converted Model-A barn is located in the backyard (private yard, alley entrance, and alley parking - please do not disturb the front house residents). It has been fully remodeled to include vaulted ceilings with skylights, a full kitchen, gas fireplace and clawfoot bathtub.
With the kitchen, living area, and bedroom in one space with high ceilings with skylight, the space feels spacious. There is a traditional bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower, and a closet for storage.
A cast iron gas fireplace easily heats the well-insulated studio. There is a small tv with digital antennae and a dvd player, and of course full-fledged internet service.
There is a new large deck entrance with sitting table and a bbq grill, facing the wild gardens maintained by the owners. From the entrance gate in the alley, the foot path meanders past the flower gardens, under a huge shade tree, and to a world record size rhubarb plant welcoming you to the door!
Garden Cottage is a licensed tourist home facility through the MT Dept of Health and Human Services, license # H-301554 County 16 Gallatin. Bozeman Cottage is owned and operated by Paul House, a licensed property manager in the state of Montana, license # RRE-RPM-LIC-45468.
Note: Wallace Ave will be under construction until mid August. Since the cottage is in the back yard, it is less of an issue than if it was on the street, but we want you to be aware of some additional construction noise.
