Villa Bahia Vista and Culebra are fully functional following recent hurricanes Irma and Maria. Please come visit us and support our economy.
Villa Bahia Vista is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house located in a neighborhood close to the town of Dewey. The villa is situated on a hill with fantastic views of the bay, facing east towards the trade winds which keep the house cool and fresh everyday.
The house has air conditioning (bedrooms only), cable TV, full kitchen, private patio with a view, hot water and sleeping accommodations for 6 people (strictly enforced).
Culebra Island is located between St. Thomas and Puerto Rico and is part of the Spanish Virgin Islands.
Culebra Island offers more than 10 beautiful beaches, including Flamenco Beach voted the 3rd most beautiful beach in the world. We are very ecologically conscious and protect the beauty of our island; you will not find any resorts, cruise ships or golf courses on Culebra. Instead, we are surrounded by 21 small uninhabited islands which are perfect for exploring above or under water. Kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, diving, sport fishing and yacht chartering are some of the activities available on the island. Or, you just might want to relax and enjoy the view.

Culebra is a hidden gem in the Caribbean. It has some of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Very safe to live and vacation. The people are very environmentally conscious and strive to protect the beauty of the island.
Beautiful, safe and warm.
The home was all were needed for a family of four. Nice view of bay with great breeze. Bedrooms air conditioned. Kitchen had what we needed. Beach chairs, towels, and cooler provided. Didi was very helpful and very friendly. Owner was great at communicating with US prior to our stay. We loved our stay in Culebra!
Well located, clean and comfortable property with lovely deck and views. Owners and property manager wonderful to deal with and responsive! Everything you need is here. Nice beach chairs, coolers etc. Air conditioning in bed rooms work well and cool breezes other rooms. The only problem keeping it from 5 stars is the constant drone of a nearby large power generator plant which perhaps is secondary to recent hurricaine ? Made sleeping in one bedroom somewhat difficult! But very good value. Lovely otherwise.
We just concluded a four day three night stay in Culebra at the Villa Bahia Vista and we found the house to be very clean and comfortable. It had everything our family of four required - my wife and I were comfortable in one bedroom and our 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son enjoyed the bunk bed in the second bedroom. We particularly enjoyed the spacious deck and view. The steady Caribbean breezes kept the house cool, augmented by the ceiling fans - we never bothered to use the ac.
Jaime was prompt and helpful in all his communication prior to the visit and Didi couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating during our stay - and our kids quickly made friends with her dogs and cats!
Culebra has rebounded from Hurricane Maria - stores, restaurants and rental businesses were open however the overall number of visitors is down, so come and help out the folks who call this beautiful island home!
Flamanco Beach was accessible however the parking lot and beach kiosk businesses were still closed during our stay - we did hear a rumor that it would be open by the weekend.
All in all, we were quite happy with our stay at the villa and would certainly recommend it to others!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Jaime’s home in Culebra. Loved the spacious deck, the beach chairs, the many utilities in the kitchen, the cleanliness and furniture, the salsa music! Would love staying here again. We felt at home in this home.
Also like to add that Didi (the property manager) was awesome and made our stay very enjoyable! We hope to be back.
The listing says there's a washer and dryer but doesn't say it's not for the tenants use, listing also says there's air conditioning but we were informed upon arrival that it's only in the rooms for use at night. Also the property manager came in the condo without my consent while we were away. We loved the island and the locals were very friendly! Great place to visit will definitely come back to Culebra again!
Conveniently located between the airport and the town, you do not need to rent a vehicle unless you want. You can walk to the ferry landing and catch a shuttle to Flamenco Beach. Two beaches are within a walking distance approximately 1 1/2 miles away. Most restaurants are in town so you can walk to them as well. The house is on a hill and gets steady trade wind breezes and has a beautiful view of the bay. The large patio is perfect for relaxing or outdoor dining.
