Located just three minutes by car off of Carmel Valley Road, the house is a brisk twenty minute walk into Carmel Valley Village and a leisurely twenty minute drive into Carmel-by-the-Sea!
‘Life is Good’ is located in a very quiet neighborhood and we like it that way:) The house is not suited for parties due to the noise factor.
Parking limited to three cars.
We are pet friendly.

The yard is not fully-fenced. Dogs must stay on lead or respond to voice command. No roaming off-property. The house has no a/c! ‘Master’ bedroom: New firm, queen mattress, foam topper. Preparing for sleep, the sky offers you views of the moon as it glides across the sky.
The upstairs bathroom, shower/tub, has a glass-bloc wall allowing the sun to shine in while ensuring complete privacy.
The second upstairs bedroom is roomy and bright with tall windows facing west and north. Queen bed w/new firm mattress.
Walking downstairs, linger a moment on the landing to enjoy the exquisite tile work while looking out the window on the east for wildlife sightings! You might just see a pair of intelligent animal eyes peeking back at you!
The downstairs bedroom with private access to the bathroom, has a queen bed (soft) and french doors leading to the patio.
The downstairs bathroom, accessible from the bedroom or the living area, is decorated with tiles hand-crafted by local artisans.
The kitchen offers a gas stove/oven, refrigerator w/ice maker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, blender and has a washer/dryer in the pantry. Plates, bowls, utensils, pots and pans, cutlery ~ everything one might need to make their stay here as comfortable as possible are provided.
Sit inside or enjoy dining al fresco on the patio. Fire up the propane BBQ while feasting your senses on the views, the colors, the sounds and the smells of the canyon while enjoying homemade fare.
Food take-out suggestions: Trailside Cafe, Kathy's Little Kitchen, Thai Village, Running Iron, Rustica Cafe, Los Laureles Lodge, to name a few!
Local art galleries including CVAA and Patricia Qualls are gaining international attention. Carmel Valley Village has a motorcycle museum and the Carmel Valley History Museum; check website(s) for hours. Laguna Seca-Mazda Raceway/Recreational area is 9.8 mi. away (15 minutes). Carmel Beach and River Mouth Beach are approximately 25 minutes by car. Asilomar Beach and Steinbeck's Cannery Row in Pacific Grove are 40 minutes away.
Living room has a Smart tv, no local programming & DVD player (video library upstairs).
