Why shanti ramcharan chose Osceola Park

This property was purchased because of its ideal location (9 blocks south of Atlantic Ave) and its shining interior and exterior. I couldn't help but love it.

What makes this house unique

The tropical landscaping of this home are, in my opinion, its most amazing feature. The house features clusia bushes, coconut palms, two colors of desert rose, numerous fruit trees and my all time favorites, silver Bismarck palms.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Casa Osceola was the perfect place to stay in Delray Beach. Spotlessly clean on arrival, the house is private and comfortable, with many little perks like a barbecue, washer and drier, a private side yard, and a covered driveway. We were two couples and never felt cramped, and the kitchen is very functional for when you're tired of eating out (there are three big markets within 10 minutes' walk, including Trader Joe's). The neighborhood is residential and quiet except for train tracks nearby, though the trains don't come through very often. It's convenient both to the beach and downtown, though either may be a little far for some people to walk (I recommend renting a bike, there's a great place a few blocks north of Atlantic Ave. to do so). Atlantic Dunes, a state beach that is more private and mellow than the town beach, is a 20 minute walk that includes a great view of the Intercoastal. The downtown section of Atlantic Ave. is similarly about 15 minutes away on foot. I've stayed in several hotels and houses in and around Delray over the years and this was my best experience so far.

This property is well kept and very clean.

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week in this lovely home in Delray Beach Florida. The property itself is very clean and well kept. It is a hidden gem and offers the guests a little taste of paradise. The house itself is fully stocked with all the amenities needed to have a comfortable stay. It was very relaxing and felt just like home to me! I will definitely be returning and staying in this home on all my trips to Florida! This place is great for anyone who is looking to spend a relaxing vacation in the sun! Thank you! We will be back soon!

Very Nice House - we enjoyed our stay

  • 5 of 5

The house is very nice - had everything that we needed and was conveniently located to the beach and downtown Delray - just a short driving distance. We were also very close to Publix along with some other grocery and drug stores. We very much enjoyed our stay.

A rocky start

  • 4 of 5

We got off to a rocky start. When we arrived at the property the gate, which was supposed to be left open, was locked so we could not access the lock box to enter the unit. We called the three numbers given to us in the instructions and left messages at each number. We waited half an hour before anyone got back to us. We were disappointed in the outdoor area. There was no outdoor furniture, so you couldn't enjoy eating outdoors. Unfortunately, the outdoor property was damaged by the hurricane. The picture on the website was taken before the damage so was not what we expected. On the bright side, when we expressed our concern to the owner, the caretaker came and cleaned up the property the next morning. The interior has a very well equipped kitchen and was very clean. Carol, the property manager was always available to answer any questions we had. The location is not too far from Atlantic Avenue or the beach, but we would not consider it walking distance unless you are accustomed to walking a mile and a half. The drive to Atlantic Avenue and the Beach is just about 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic. In spite of the rocky start, we enjoyed our time in Delray. The restaurants are wonderful and the beach beautiful. There is plenty of shopping and many attractions nearby. We picked strawberries, went to Wakodohatchee Preserve which was a wonderful experience, there is a mini golf course nearby and a diner around the corner. All in all it was a pleasant vacation. A special "thank you" to Carol!

As advertised

  • 4 of 5

Shanti's home was clean, cozy, and overall met our expectations. The week we were there was not ideal weather wise- some of the coldest weather there in 8 years!- so we were not able to take advantage of the beach, but it is reasonably close to the beach and downtown Delray. The yard is nice for the kids (weather permitting). Overall a good value for the pricepoint.
