This 2BR/2.5BA unit is very spacious and roomy. It has been updated and has a fully furnished kitchen and wet bar area. Each of the roomy bedrooms have walk-in closets and their own private decks. Gulf Winds East 51 sleeps 6. 1 King size bed, 1 Queen size bed, and a sleeper sofa. Sunday to Sunday rental during the peak season. Only one parking spot available per condo. Canopies or tents are not allowed on this beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent.

Destin, Florida is known as "the worlds luckiest fishing village", but we do not stop there! The whitest beaches of Florida and the Emerald Green waters are unmatched. Shop in an outlet mall, an upscale outdoor mall, or one of many boutique stores. When you are through shopping, there are endless places to enjoy the local fare or just get a quick bite. Don't forget about our water park, amusement parks, and our dozens of golf courses.

Gulf Winds East
I was excited to stay at gulf winds because of its location and access to the beach across the street. Things were going well with the amenities until the internet would just go out. I reboot the device and it would work for a day and go out. I reported to the onsite maintenance, they came and did what I did to resolve and said this looks like a personal modem that they would have to notify the owner to resolve fully. I had to continue to reset the device daily for the wifi to work. I accepted this issue. But then one night the family and I returned home later in the evening and there was not any hot water for us to shower and get clean. I called onsite maintenance and was given a reply that I would have to wait until the next morning around 9 AM for someone to look at the hot water issue. This was not reasonable as I was not clean and had an early morning appointment at 7AM to attend. I reported this and called Vrbo and then tried to reach out to onsite maintenance and was ignored. This was not resolved to my satisfaction. No attempt to compensate me for the inconvenience occured. The hot water was corrected while I was out. I was able to shower and then the following morning the hot water was out again. It was time for me to check out so I didnt bother calling again since I felt I was not a valued guest. I contacted Vrbo again to see if the host or maintenance had responded to my complaint and they informed me they had not and to go ahead and leave this info

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked for 7 days ,paid. Had to leave after 2 due to a family matter. I didn't ask for a refund just credit for maybe 4 days. I was refused. I'm not rich and had saved for this vacation. I am sick and knew this was going to be my last one. Company had no sympathy at all. I should have gone with a more high end property. They ask did I have the insurance, it was never offered to me. But then said ,it may not have mattered.
