Ocean City Getaway is a designer three bedroom, two bath condo, located on the coveted 1st Street beach block. This bright and vibrant, ground floor condo is just a short 5 minute walk to the popular and family friendly 1st Street beach area, which offers convenient access to all the beach’s amenities, boardwalk and the most popular Browns Restaurant donuts. This home was featured in Coastal Living magazine. A true rare gem for an Ocean City rental.

We also include fresh luxury bed linens and towels. There are 4 bikes. The safest of streets within the coveted beach block and an alley behind home so kids can ride bike right to the boards and the beach with safe access!

Encompassing the entire ground floor of a new development, this incredible beach home is furnished with Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware furniture and has custom finishes throughout. The chef's kitchen features maple white cabinetry and is ready for entertaining with a full stainless appliance suite, marble countertops, and a wine cooler that is tucked in the large island. The living room has ample sitting to enjoy the 60" HDTV and custom 72" LCD fireplace. The living spaces are finished with exotic hardwood and the bedrooms with comfortable plush carpet. The entertainment space includes a Smart TV that comes with Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, and Premium Xfinity Channels, and surround sound so you can enjoy your movies and music.

The master bedroom with ensuite has a King bed, HDTV, and rear balcony for enjoying your morning coffee. The master shower is a "walk-in" full, glass spa. The second bedroom has a King bed, HDTV, and a balcony. The third bedroom has two bunk beds and sleeps five children with a twin over full bunk bed and a twin bunk bed. The bathrooms are finished in Carrera marble with quartz countertops to bring a spa-like feel to your holiday home. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

The front porch has four rocking chairs, a tropical ceiling fan, and two tables to relax the summer days and evenings away. There is a private outdoor shower with evening lighting and a teak bench for cleaning up after the beach. The laundry has a large stacked washer and dryer, so guests can pack as little or as much as they would like.

This is a private alley lot so there is parking for one car and a large garage for storing all your items.

Exceptional experience
The house was by far the best rental my family has ever had. We would go back without question. The house is close to the beach and not quite as crowded as other areas. I loved the fact that I didn’t have to deal with linen rentals and the associated logistics. There were even things like dishwasher pods, washing machine detergent etc. which seems like a trivial thing but it all adds up to a great overall experience. We had a great time!

Beautiful Home!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home on 1st Street! We have never stayed down that far when visiting OCNJ (we go every year) and it was a nice change. The area is quiet and laid back. The beach is a short block away! Brown's was a treat for a sit down breakfast, donuts and a water ice while on the beach. We also ate at the Island Grill right on the corner and my children liked runnning to the corner store/deli for quick things we forgot. It really gave you the feel that you were part a community, not just 'borrowing' the house for a week :) The house itself was gorgeous. The furniture was very comfortable. The amenities were top notch. It was a treat to not have to drag towels and sheets and even beach chairs with us on vacation. We used the grill as my kids played games in the back alley. We enjoyed seeing the many local bunnies every day! The house was clean and modern, stylish and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us, There easily could have been a whole other family with us and there would have been room. My youngest (5) could not reach the bathroom sings so we had to improvise to make her a little step stool lol. The island was huge and my kids ate breakfast there every day. The beds were very comfortable. My teen loved having her own room on vacation and also having a balcony off her bedroom. Her only comment was that there were no full length mirrors in the home so she got some slack for hogging the bathrooms mirrors haha. They loved the outdoor shower after a day at the beach to cool down and clean off. The house was absolutely lovely, just my style. Loved every inch of decor. That and cleanliness are very important to me. I want to feel 100% comfortable when staying in a home for a week and I certainly did here! The fireplace is awesome! Just a gorgeous home that we were very lucky to take over for a week :) Thank you to the hosts for giving us the opportunity!

The greatest!
I can't say enough about this property! We had the best time! The location is amazing!!! We had a 2 month old, 4 yr old, parents, and grandparents! We honestly could have never left the house and I would have been happy! Comfy beds, perfect porch for morning coffee, evening toy games, and after dinner cocktails. Close to the beach with bathroom facilities. Perfect outdoor shower! Beautiful kitchen! We love OC and this is by far the best property we have rented!

Why they chose this property

This property has a north end location. It is located within two blocks of the beach. The boardwalk with amusements, shopping, and restaurants is nearby. Downtown shopping is also close. There is a causeway leading north out of Ocean City for easy access to Atlantic City and the casinos. There are tennis courts and a playground in the area.
