Just a few blocks from restaurants, shopping and nightlife, the Walkington Cottage is the perfect retreat for any occasion. Located in the Historic District, a few blocks from the Oxford Square, the Walkington Cottage is nestled on a half-acre lot. You'll enjoy all the Southern charm this updated and restored 1950's one-bedroom cottage has to offer.
The 1-bedroom Cottage is well appointed with original white oak wood floors, old heart pine floors in the kitchen, a gas fireplace, LCD TV, Queen-size sleeper sofa and a screened side porch that is shared with the Main House. The Cottage features a spacious back deck, 12’ x 20’, that offers a great outdoor area for dining. The Cottage has a private and separate entrance from the Main House and off-street parking. It sleeps up to four.
Make the Walkington Cottage your Rebel sports headquarters with a short walk to Ole Miss ballgames. Plus, you're only one block from Rowan Oak, William Faulkner’s historic home. If you love nature, you will enjoy the walk through Bailey’s Woods Trail that links Rowan Oak, to Vaught–Hemingway Stadium, Tad Smith Coliseum and Swayze Field.

If there is anything we can do to make your stay more memorable, please don't hesitate to ask. We love helping celebrate special occasions, and helping coordinate a variety of services for our out-of-town guests.
