Moon Over Shawnigan is a 3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a large forested property located in Shawnigan Village near Lake, shops and restaurants.

A 40 minute drive to Victoria.

An 8 minute drive to Mill Bay, Cowichan Bay is an 18 minute drive.

Kinsol Trestle is a 20 minute Bicycle ride.

Shawnigan Lake School is 5 minutes away and Brentwood college is 8 minutes.

A full Kitchen with a stove top oven, a refrigerator-freezer, a toaster, a microwave oven, a kettle, a simple coffee maker and a barbecue on the deck.

Please note that a dishwasher is not included with this rental. A dishwasher is not installed which is in good working condition. For guests who choose not to wash dishes a service fee will be charged.

Damage deposit $200 for short term $500 weekly and monthly~Please contact us if you would like to have a damage deposit added to your booking, or please bring a credit card and ID for damage deposit at check in.
Continental Breakfast $8 each, 24 hours notice for breakfast order please.
Guests under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or chaperon for supervision.
Pay no tax. Credit cards accepted. No stag or parties with extra guests. No smoking. No pets
No cooking oils, No cooking bacon or similar greasy fatty foods permitted.
Outgoing local telephone freely provided.
Electric power consumption limited to $5.00 per day. Extra power usage to be paid at cost. To avoid extra electric charges please turn off electrical items when not in use and limit heating and hot water usage.
For low season long term bookings the fire wood provided at cost.
Laundry is self service. Washing, Drying and detergent is $8.00 per load.
Check in is at 3pm unless cleaning is finished then check in may be earlier.
Check out is at 11am.
Christmas and New Years bookings rate extra cost than the Winter rate. Please call for details.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
