Morgan Street Homestead
Located in the heart of Marquette. The home is close to Northern Michigan University, Marquette General Hospital, various events and activities. Across the street is Harlow Park, home to the American Legion Post #44 memorial along with assorted playground equipment, large open area and a basketball court. Across from the park is the new Marquette Food Co-op which will accommodate your grocery and deli needs.
The home is within walking distance to many activities and attractions. Mattson Park is located on Lake Superior, east of the home. Most festivals and events take place at Mattson Park, it’s much easier to walk from the house than to try to find parking at an event. Also within walking distance are various restaurants and bars.
Marquette is well known for their hiking and bike paths, access to the bike path is just south of the home across Washington Street.
Marquette has a 'Fit Strip' which is just north of the house. This includes a cross country ski trail, no need to drive, just grab your skis and walk one block north.
The home has three bedrooms, one and one-half bath, remodeled in 2012. Included in the remodel was the kitchen, appliances, insulation, painting, refinished hardwood floors, tile bathrooms, installed an additional half bath with a washer and dryer.
The front of the home has a beautiful large screened in porch that faces Harlow Park. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee, relax in the evenings after a full day enjoying the Upper Peninsula. To the north of the home is a small one bedroom apartment.

We also have a VRBO 1 bedroom rental, It's located north of this unit and attached by a separate hallway. It was completely renovated as of July 2015, the VRBO number is 721606. It's a great unit by itself and would work out well if you have additional family or friends who would like to have their own space but still be close by.
Great central location. Within walking distance to many activities, across the street is beautiful Harlow Park and the Marquette Food Co-op for all of your grocery needs! Lake Superior and Mattson Park (summer festivals are held here) and all it has to offer is also within walking distance.
Morgan Street units (we have two VRBO's on Morgan St.) are one of very few rentals where you don't necessarily require a vehicle. The home is within walking distance to groceries, downtown, shopping, restaurants and Lake Superior.
Marquette is known for their great biking & hiking trails, a bike path to connect is across the street, south of the house. And, you can store your bikes in the front porch!
