Stunning oceanfront views, beach, hot tub

THE VIEWS DO NOT GET BETTER THAN THIS! This photo was taken from the dining room table one evening. We recently have been watching the whales from the same dining room table. The panoramic views are breathtaking, whether from the home, the spa, or walking along the beach or picnicking on the bluff. Watch the ocean transform from sunrise to sunset, with the Mendocino Lost Coast framing the horizon. Enjoy a romantic or family-friendly stay in our contemporary home on 5 ocean-front acres. In the evenings enjoy the wood burning stove, or watch the stars and listen to the ocean from the comfort of the hot tub. Walk along the many beaches stretching along the Ocean, and enjoy the tidal pools, seals and vistas. The property shares the private beach shown in the photo, and has it's own private cove, accessible at low tide and known for the sea glass to be found in its sands.

The nearby seaside village of Westport makes for a pleasant walk. There is a small store in the adjoining campground with essentials, and a quaint store in the village. We are comfortably far from shopping malls and fast food, and very close to the ocean waves and the stars.

Spent 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Great house with nice beach view/access. Brighter lighting for reading on the couch at night would be great. We hope to visit again, thank you.

Idyllic view from a beautiful perch
My husband and I have been very fortunate in our vacation rental experience in Mendocino County and this was no exception. I was a bit concerned by the proximity of a campground but actually it was a huge plus. We were atop a bluff so no noise or lack of privacy and when we took our twice daily beach walks, people were friendly and very courteous. The whole experience was dog friendly, which was nice for us but even without a dog, this sweet cottage will sooth your spirit. The wood stove and well stocked woodbin helped us keep toasty warm and hot tub experience was beyond glorious. The ocean is larger than life in this location and it could not have been better. The house is small but does have two bedrooms so theoretically we could have had another person there to share the beauty. Host was spot on in communication and responsiveness ahead of our stay. The view is exactly what you see in the photo! Thank you, Dan, for everything. We appreciate knowing of this special place....

Dream Cottage
Dan was such a helpful and quick responding host. The house is set perfectly to gaze at the Pacific for hours. The property is massive and allows for walks to the beach through the adjacent campground. You can park there too if it is too far to walk. The kitchen is well stocked along with all bedrooms. We will be back in the years to come for sure.

It takes my breath away every time I look out at the Pacific Ocean surf rolling into the miles of California coast visible from the cottage windows. I would love to share this with you.

What makes this property unique

Peaceful setting, with incredible views of the interplay of ocean and light from dawn to sunset. Walk for miles at low tide through the pristine Nothern beaches past acres of tidepools. When the surf is up, watch from the bluff top, hot tub or dining room table as the ocean sings its song.
This is a NON SMOKING house.
