This 4th floor deluxe unit #403 in the Anthurium Building offers stunning ocean views, overlooking the manicured courtyard garden and pool area... which steps right to the warm Pacific Ocean. In the morning you can see the Sunrise over the Haleakala Mt Range and spectacular Sunsets at night.

The Kauhale Makai meaning " Village by the Sea" is a small quiet complex located 20 minutes south of the Kahului Airport and 1 Mile North of Kihei town center, out of the hustle bustle yet minutes to Maui's best beaches, restaurants, golf, massage, shopping and other attractions.

This is not a good swimming beach as it has coral and a deep drop off. But you can enjoy nice long strolls on the beach, a dip in the pool or jacuzzi under the Maui Stars and Moon. The best beaches for swimming or snorkeling are North or South of the condo.

Relaxing destination
This is a nice property with an excellent ocean view from the lanai and living room. I had my morning coffee on the lanai watching the whales breech. I live in the country so I was aware of some street noise and the garbage truck coming at 6 am, but overall, the unit and the view make up for all of that. This unit has a renovated kitchen and shower. It's conveniently located so it's easy to get to restaurants and attractions on the island. The south facing lanai is a great place to catch some sun if you'd rather not go down to the pool. Like the owners say in their description, the beach isn't really suitable for swimming but we enjoyed a nice walk in the surf every morning. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Great spot
We've stayed in this property before, but this is probably the best unit! Great sunrise and perfect alignment to sunset. Almost no road noise being an inside unit. Well renovated. Only tiny complaints would be we found the unit a bit dark (brighter/more ceiling lights would help) and the lockbox was extremely difficult to get open. Besides that 10/10 for value and location! Recommended.

Wonderful stay at Village by the Sea
The condo was gorgeous and clean and well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. We had a problem the first day we arrived and Terry got it resolved within a few hours. They were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Kihei, Hawaii!

Quiet Oceanfront Property
Steps to a very quiet and long stretch of beach. Condo was clean with great view of the ocean from lanai. Beautiful sunsets. Well stocked kitchen. Times Supermarket close by. Never had trouble finding parking. Could access the 4th floor condo by stairs or elevator. Loved the trade winds at this end of Kihei which kept you a bit cooler. If you’re looking for a quieter holiday, this is the place.

We enjoy the relaxing view of the Ocean and Haleakala Mt range. Situated on 3 acres of Tropical Grounds overlooking the garden & pool area. We love watching the Whale from our Lanai December thru March and the beach is perfect for nice long walks.
