Recently restored historic, Mill house, downtown Bend. This home is a quick few blocks to downtown shops, great restaurants, galleries, and only a 15 minute walk to the Old Mill District. The Deschutes River and Drake Park, hiking and biking trails, kayaking and tubing are just a short walk away. Mt. Bachelor ski resort is only a 30 minutes drive. A newly remodeled Safeway grocery store is 3 blocks away. We are a couple blocks from an awesome bike rental shop and The Taco Stand - a hidden gem and locals' favorite.
Perched on a rock outcropping on a corner lot, facing south, overlooking the old mill area. In the heart of it all.
Other amenities include a gas fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, large bathroom with double sinks. Each bedroom has its own wall mounted TV (with Netflix) and a queen size bed.

'Thanks for the rental of the wonderful cottage! It fit our needs perfectly. Easy walking distance to downtown Bend, peaceful and quiet yet quick access to restaurants, groceries, all the great things Bend has to offer. - J.W'
This a NO SMOKING property. No smoking inside the cottage. No smoking outdoors.
We've always had a passion for building and renovating homes, and gardening. We relocated from Corvallis to Bend in 1990, and have never looked back. We raised our daughter here, and consider Bend to be our home.
Linda Brundage purchased this bungalow in 2000
A realtor friend found this property for us. It was a diminutive 447 square feet with a sagging roof, windows askew, and no foundation! And so of course, we fell in love with it and had to have it. Of all the building/remodeling projects we've ever taken on, this is the one we knew was special. After much research, planning, and conversations with the local Historic Society, we embarked on the adventure of restoring (and adding to...) the property. This home is a true gem. We are proud to offer it as a vacation rental; your temporary home away from home.
My family and I stayed here recently and had such a lovely time. The home was incredibly clean, and fully stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. It was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. It was also very close to downtown Bend and we walked to breakfast and dinner every day during our stay. We will definitely book this home again next summer for our yearly trip to Bend.
We enjoyed our stay here. Close proximity to downtown area and a short drive to Virginia Meissner snow park and Mt Bachelor.
Excellent location, cute little well stocked house!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Very warm and inviting, loved the fireplace and amenities .

Love the small gas fireplace that keeps the front room cozy. The house layout is great and everything is there if you want to cook. Location was perfect and we thought it perfect for two couples.
Excellent accommodations in beautiful Bend.
The house has everything that you need. It is a short walk to downtown, and a pleasant walk to the Old Mill. We have stayed here a few times and we will probably return.
Local breweries including Deschutes Brewery, McMenamins, and more!
