Mallard Retreat Cabin is one of 7 cabins and Lodge rooms perched on the hillside at Helton Falls Lodge....25 miles from Helen,Georgia in the mountains overlooking the National Forest land. We are across from Vogel State park and Helton Falls waterfall is down our driveway 2 miles. We are in the middle of 5 mountain towns with events all the time. Visit us and hike, bike, raft, tube, zipline, golf, shop, or just relax! Extra rooms in lodge next door available with private entrance and bath. Beware if you visit you will come back time and time again!!! Extra rooms available in lodge next door!

Most helpful host I have ever had
Our trip started out as a short vacation and turned into an evacuation. Stephen couldn’t have been more accommodating. Additionally, he was so pleasant to chat with and told us of all the sites we may want to check out while in the area. The tips for things to do were an absolute hit with the kids and made this a fantastic stay, so much in fact, when it was time to leave I had sad faces all around. The kids are already asking when they can come back! The cabin was clean and stocked with essentials, it fit our needs perfectly. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you Stephen!

Served our needs, prefect location and very cozy cabin.
Steven and Chloe his dog were wonderful host,warm and welcoming. The cabin was cozy. The location is super convenient to many beautiful waterfalls and state parks, it was absolutely perfect for my family and dog. We had a great time and we'll surely visit again. Thank you Steven.
