COVID-19 UPDATE:
For the safety and health of our guests, a through a disinfection process is carried out by professional cleaners. To further reduce any risk of infection, there is a 48 hour period between departing and arriving guests.

Welcoming guests since 2014, Ferry Walk House is a licensed, pet friendly, home away from home. The bright, open plan, 750 sq. ft. ground floor garden suite offers one or two bedroom accommodation. Fully air-conditioned.

Located in the heart of Horseshoe Bay village, Ferry Walk House is close to transit, (30 minutes to Vancouver), hiking, golf, ferries, boat rentals, ski-ing and much more. Features include air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, in-suite laundry, bath with shower, comfortable seating area with 50" TV/Netflix, WIFI, fireplace, dining area and two desks if the 2nd bedroom is included. Guests enjoy a garden patio with BBQ and outside dining. The accommodation is self-contained with private entrance and off-street parking.

Ferry Walk House is equipped to a high standard, designed to anticipate everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom amenities, hair dryers, bath-robes and beach towels are provided. The fully equipped kitchen includes tea, coffee, seasonings and paper products etc. Laundry products are included.

This is a one-bedroom suite with a second bedroom adjacent to it, separated by an inner door. Both bedrooms have high-quality mattresses. The 2nd bedroom has a TV with Netflix and a full size desk. This room has a large picture window overlooking a tranquil English garden. To ensure complete privacy, there is a separation between the 2nd bedroom and the owner's part of the house. This bedroom is only available when the suite is occupied by guests travelling together or at an extra charge if two guests require separate bedrooms.

Wonderful place to stay!
Our family of 3 enjoyed the comfortable and well appointed accommodation. The location is perfect for quick walks to the coffee shops, stores and restaurants. Nice trails around town to walk the dog too. Valerie is a wonderful host and was very quick to respond to any question or request we had. We look forward to staying again.

The attention to detail that host Valerie gives is topnotch. She is so kind and friendly. The apartment is so cosy and the bed is so comfy, and has a gorgeous view of Horseshoe Bay only a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get on ferries and highways. Horseshoe Bay is small and quiet with excellent restaurants and unique stores, especially the Spirit Gallery. We'd highly recommend this spot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to stay in Horseshoe Bay!
Very happy with our stay, the place was just as nice as it appears in the pictures, Valerie was fabulous, going out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for, and we loved that we could do our laundry in the suite, I would highly recommend this property.

Very clean ,very attractiveMy decorated ground floor suite. and maMy homelike touches with beautifully equipped suite style kitchen. Lovely small courtyard gardens . Direct sunlight from mid morning to early evening on small patio. Very pleasant and helpful owner upstairs.

I live on the main floor above the suite. While I completely respect the privacy of my guests, I am always happy to answer questions or help with directions.

Having met many people from around the world during my travels and while working in the airline and travel industry, I really enjoy continuing to meet new people without actually leaving home.

If you have children or pets, the friendly hospitality at Ferry Walk House is specifically designed to offer services that will make everyone’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. I can provide any child-related equipment you need. If I don't have it, I can arrange for rental. For your furry family member, there is a fully-fenced garden.

Why they chose this property

Horseshoe Bay is a unique part of West Vancouver. There is a village atmosphere and shop owners are friendly and outgoing. The mountain and sea views from the village are forever changing and unfailingly spectacular. I love where I live and when you get here, you will see why!

What makes this property unique

You will enjoy all the comforts of a home away from home and plenty of brochures to give you ideas about what to see and where to go. Before your arrival I will be sending you a link to my "Welcome Book" with directions, parking information and everything you need to know about your accommodation and the local area. You will find a copy of this book in the suite.

Bus travel is easy. The bus stop is 2 minutes away from the house, opposite the ferry terminal, and there is an express bus service into Vancouver every 20 minutes. Travel to the city takes 30 minutes and fares can be paid by cash or credit card.

You can hop on a ferry to Bowen Island (20 minutes), or to the Sunshine Coast (45 minutes), or Vancouver Island (90 minutes).

Whistler Mountain (Winter Olympics 2010) is a 75 minute drive along one of the most scenic highways in the world. Along the way, you can visit Squamish, boasting a gondola with incredible views of the surrounding area.

You can also rent a boat or take the guided "Sea Safari" tour from Sewell's Marina - 3 minutes walk from the house. You can walk to a coastal park and beach, or visit Lighthouse Park with trails running through the awe inspiring forest. For golfers, Gleneagles golf course is 5 minutes away. The opportunities and activities are endless!
