You will feel relaxed and at home as soon as you walk through your private entrance at Ferry Walk House.

The spacious and bright 750 of garden suite has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.

For additional guests in the same party, there is a 2nd bedroom for $28 per person, per night. This bedroom is adjacent to the suite, sharing a common wall. The bedroom has a queen size bed, at TV with Netflix and a desk. It overlooks a tranquil English garden.

Both beds have high-quality mattresses and guests often comment on how well they have slept. Each bedroom has extra pillows, towels, blankets, terry towel bathrobes and hairdryers. Beach towels are also provided.

During summer months you can open the French doors and relax in your private patio garden. You can cook on the gas BBQ and when it gets darker, enjoy twinkling lights and candles.

On colder nights, snuggle up on the comfy L-shaped sofa that is big enough for 4 people and feel toasty in front of the fireplace.

The Entertainment Centre includes a 50 inch TV with Netflix, a radio/CD player with speakers, and a DVD player. High-speed cable Internet and WIFI provide a reliable connection for your laptop and phone.

When your bed calls, you can slide between fresh soft linens, line-dried in summer and retaining the tang of fresh air.

Ferry Walk House is ecologically friendly. Recycling facilities are provided.

You will be just steps from the ferry terminal, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, pub, and a child-friendly waterfront park.

Ferries are right on your doorstep. You can set off for a day trip to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, (90 minutes). Or in 20 minutes you can be in Snug Cove on Bowen Island, exploring quaint shops & deciding which restaurant looks the most appealing. Sechelt on B.C.’s scenic Sunshine Coast Is just 40 minutes away. You can visit the farmers markets, browse through the museums, or check out local festivals and events.

From Horseshoe Bay in 15 minutes or less, you can be exploring a coastal park, playing tennis, hiking through a 500-year old Douglas and Cedar fir forest, or setting off on a Sea Safari wildlife eco-tour. If you prefer to relax, you can wander down to the village for an ice-cream or coffee, or perhaps sit in the waterfront park and watch the ferries come and go. Or you can just relax with a book in your own patio garden.

City of Vancouver – you can be in the centre of Vancouver in 30 minutes by car and there is an express bus service departing from Horseshoe Bay. The options are simply too numerous to list in detail. Choose between beaches, parks, art galleries, museums, aquarium, Chinatown, Yaletown, Gastown, Granville Island Market, to name but a few. Numerous and diverse activities that can be enjoyed in this incredibly scenic city.

Ski and snowboarding on the local mountains is just 30 minutes away, or at Whistler (2010 Winter Olympics) is a 90 minute drive along one of the most scenic highways in the world. In summer these mountains offer endless outdoor activities and the views over Vancouver from Grouse and Cypress Mountains will stay in your mind’s eye forever.
