The sounds and views of the beautiful New River with the Blue Ridge mountains as the backdrop greet you. A perfect place to sit on the large front deck, watch the river and simply relax and recharge. Your new riverfront home includes a spacious living area with the comforts of home - a large flat screen TV and internet. Vaulted ceilings with loft and gas fireplace with a fully equipped kitchen await. There are three bedrooms and loft space, with a master on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor so that everyone has their own space. Your new home away from home has two and a half baths and a washer/dryer. The loft is a perfect place to read, watch TV or play games. The back deck gives you a great view of the surrounding woods with a gas grill. Enjoy all the river has to offer with tubing, kayaking, and fly fishing. Todd General Store and Mercantile are just a short walk away. Visit Boone and West Jefferson which are only 20 min away for shopping, sightseeing, and many other activities. Whatever you need to relax and renew - this riverfront cabin is the place for you!

Wonderful Stay

Great cabin getaway on the river!
Perfect cabin for family getaway! Enjoyed listening to the river running by and we had some snow, too. Grandson was excited to see a deer in the back and granddaughters found a basket of toys that made the weekend extra fun for them. Thank you!!

Beautiful Getaway
Beautiful cabin. Plenty of room for the whole family. Far enough away from town to have total peace and quiet but just a short twenty-minute drive to anything you might need. Will defiantly stay here again.

Relaxing weekend
This was our second trip to this cabin in Todd. We had a wonderful time. The facilities were excellent...just like last time. We LOVE the room to relax all together and play board games. We knew that there was bad weather expected. It is a comfort knowing that the cabin is not located up a large incline. We were just down the road from Boone and the ski resort. However, we were just far enough away for it to be a real break away from everything. Issues: 1. Lights outside should be fixed. More lighting on the front near steps and bulbs attended to on the side porch. 2. The dryer does not dry well. Not sure if it was an issue for just us. We tried many different settings.

Why they chose this property

Our grandparents and dad were born nearby and the family church grounds were on this property. After the church moved, our grandparents purchased the land. Our dad's dream was to build a cabin on this property which became a reality a few years ago. After our dad passed away, our mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the rental income from our cabin helps provide for her care. We enjoy sharing this special place and hope you find renewed energy and love for life as you enjoy God's blessings here.
