About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 8 (6 adults)

This magnificent home in beautiful Oceanside is a perfect place to stay at while enjoying everything the northern coast has to offer. Featuring absolutely gorgeous views of the ocean, a spacious and modern interior, dog-friendly attitude, and a private hot tub, this home has everything you need to enjoy your vacation in style.

With a great location just a quarter-mile from the beach, you may be content to spend your time beachcombing or walking the sandy shores, stop at a cafe for lunch, and spend the evenings relaxing in the lovely house. If you want more activity options, Tillamook, just a 15-minute drive east, has a variety of great restaurants, stores, and two amazing cheese factories. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the hiking and biking trails, fishing and boating available nearby, and driving three miles north to visit the charming Cape Meares Lighthouse.

The home itself is fabulous: three bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed and one with an additional crib for infants), three bathrooms, and two decks with fantastic ocean views. Up to eight people are welcome to stay here (six adults maximum). This property is very dog-friendly, so feel free to bring up to two dogs (with an additional nightly fee) to enjoy a frolic on the beach with the rest of the family!

An exquisite full kitchen will delight any cooks in your group with its modern style, gleaming stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the tools you may need to cook up any type of meal. The living room has plenty of places for everyone to sit (it even has a dog bed!), and a fun bench-seating area nearby would be a great place for everyone to gather for a leisurely dinner.

Upstairs, the bedrooms offer plush, comfortable beds where everyone will sleep soundly. One of the bathrooms even has a fabulous jetted bathtub that would be perfect for a relaxing bubble bath. Outside on the deck you will find patio furniture forming a great area to sit an breathe in the salty ocean air, plus a hot tub where you can enjoy a nice, warm soak in the bubbles after a long day of walking on the beach.

This home would be ideal for a large family or group of friends to stay in comfort and style while they enjoy a beach-focused vacation. And, with Tillamook 15 minutes away and Netarts only six minutes down the road, you will find plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities to keep everyone happy.

A stay at this tantalizing home just a few blocks from the ocean is a fabulous opportunity to experience the beach and the wonderful area around Oceanside.

*Cell phone service will stop after Netarts, and is extremely unreliable in all of Oceanside*

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Bright, beautiful, dog-friendly--with a gorgeous ocean view

 • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at your house in Oceanside. The house was cozy, so clean, and so spacious--such a beautiful place to wake up. The hot tub on the deck is wonderful and a great way to watch the stars and listen to the ocean's roar at night. The kitchen is very well appointed and had everything we needed to make a Christmas feast. The little dining nook in the kitchen is charming and fun for playing games. It was a little bit tight for a group of 6 for dinner, but workable. It's a really nice walk down to town and the beach.

Our only suggestion would be to include instructions for the DVD player. We had 3 pretty techie guys with us and could not make it work.

Thank you! Happy new year!

Beautifully spacious, ideally dog-friendly, and perfect for a big family!

 • 5 of 5

This home had everything we needed to have the perfect Thanksgiving for our family. We especially liked the fact that there was a crib AND a changing table for our 13 month old (who actually took her first steps here)! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us adults to basically live here for 5 days. The views were tremendous, the hot top spectacular, and the fully stocked kitchen was great for preparing our holiday meal. The only thing that we wish would have been different is a bigger table, but we made it work just fine.

Quiet, clean, and beautiful views

 • 5 of 5

The home was in really great condition, very clean, and comfortably accommodated 6 adults for a weekend, especially on a great weather weekend when the outdoor decks can be used. The views from every room are fabulous, including from the deck hot tub. We would definitely come back.

Loved every aspect of this home minus a kitchen that is not well stocked

 • 4 of 5

My husband and I just spent an incredible four nights in Oceanside at this home. We absolutely loved it and we already have plans to return.

Upon arrival we were thoroughly impressed at how clean and inviting the house was. The only issue we had was how poorly stocked the kitchen was and how bad of shape the grill was in. My husband and I rent homes at least once a month and this was by far, the most poorly stocked kitchen we have experienced.

We absolutely love to cook and we were thrilled when we saw the pictures of the kitchen. We had such high hopes and meal planned for some ambitious dinners. I know loving to cook and a well stocked kitchen is relative to people's needs but we struggled. I'm never sure if it's the homeowners issue or the property management groups issue when things like this happen. I can imagine that many items go missing from these rental homes and that has to be beyond frustrating. I would also never site the homeowners for not supplying top of the line cooking utensils. Let's face it, people can be extremely inconsiderate. The house had tons of dishes, three full size cheese graters, a cheesecake pan and about six wine openers. It was just a very odd selection of things they did have. However, necessary items like a vegetable peeler, a spatula, large spoons to serve multiple dishes, a plastic flipper, a pizza cutter, a basic cookie sheet, measuring utensils and a pairing knife were all gone. We felt bad using a metal flipper on teflon products. The knives were in horrible shape and we had no way of doing simple things like peeling potatoes. I'd plan on bringing a knife if you plan on cooking here. The possibility of losing a finger with their knives is real.

The grill was the worst part. It's in horrible condition and has holes in the bottom. It was by far the dirtiest grill we have ever seen. Grilling pork chops that were seared properly and not over cooked was next to impossible.

The house was also not stocked with basic items such as tin foil, plastic wrap, or leftover containers with lids to properly store our food. The house is dog friendly, which we love. They had the biggest roll of poop bags that I have ever seen. I loved that but what I did not love was having to resort to using poop bags as storage bags for our open food in the fridge.

We will most definitely be back because we found a place we are thrilled about renting again and again. We will just planned to be much better stocked the next time

Owner's Response: We are very sorry to see the kitchen was such a disappointment and wish the guest had contacted us during their stay as we could have brought some of those missing items over. The property manager will do inventory to replace missing items, and we are always willing to entertain suggestions for other cooking supplies.
