About this property

Lovely home overlooking Round Lake in Charlevoix, North Side of Harbor

This is a very comfortable house with plenty of natural light, gorgeous views of the harbor and ample yard space. There is a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed and four bedrooms upstairs: one with a twin bed, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. There are two full baths, one located upstairs and one located downstairs, a basement with a washer and dryer, a large living space on the first floor as well as a spacious modern kitchen.

Guests will have access to free parking in the driveway, the entire house, croquet and other games in the large front yard and the backyard which overlooks the harbor. Walking distance from two local beaches. Grill and seating area in the backyard, second floor balcony great for sunning, relaxing and stargazing.

We live in the house next door and will greet you to show you around and hand off the keys. We are there all summer in case you need anything but the entire house is yours for the duration of your stay.

What a gem of a week!
We couldn’t have asked for more of a picture perfect week for both weather and the cottage we stayed at this past week! Charlevoix is a quaint town with lots to offer. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard of the cottage, going for walks into town, enjoying the beaches of Lake Michigan and Mackinaw Island. Sally is a very gracious host and present to your needs!

magnificent two weeks
you can do anything and everything from this property on round lake and the views are exceptional! walk/bike to downtown for coffee, to depot beach or to lake michigan all in one day and put your paddle boards into round lake for a scenic easy paddle. and if you aren’t in the mood to do anything the view from the bluff is very satisfying. house linens were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals at the house. there are bikes for use and beach chairs/towels; which is one less thing to pack along. owners were very responsive to any of our needs/questions and made the check in/out process very simple. you won’t regret a vacation to this beautiful property.

We spend our summers and part of the spring and fall in gorgeous Charlevoix, Michigan. Our 2 homes are next to one another and we've decided to rent out the one to make some extra money and to share the beauty of Charlevoix with visitors.

Sally has been spending summers in Charlevoix her entire life and the house used to belong to her parents. We both love this little corner of the world and take advantage of the area to boat and be on the water whenever possible.

We are blessed with five children and two grandchildren.

Why they chose this property

This is family property, Sally's parents purchased the home in the 1960's. It is a very special house with an extra welcoming and special feel about it. We redecorated it a few years ago, refinished the floors and added modern amenities like air-conditioning and cable TV.

What makes this property unique

By far the best thing about this house is amazing view it offers of the harbor. From boats passing through to sun dancing on the water to the hustle and bustle of downtown there's plenty to watch from the comfort of the backyard.
