It’s a short drive to Loop railroad, ski areas, hot springs, and historic mining towns. Empire, Georgetown and Idaho Springs are all within a 10 minute drive. Zip line and white water adventures are just down the road. Denver is 30 miles east. Take day trips to Aspen, Vail, Air Force Academy, or explore the Continental Divide on the Colorado Trail. Even with all of that, there is a “feel” of being in a remote alpine location.
