Ideally suited to a family or for two or three couples, you will find ample space and luxury for everyone to unwind. Three generous bedrooms laid out as follows: the master bedroom features an ObusForm king bed and adjacent the second bedroom features two single beds. On the lower level is a three piece bath and a generous third bedroom with a queen bed. All bedding is new, hotel quality, minimum 500 thread count, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, luxury duvet's and premium bath linens. Adjacent is a freshly painted newly carpeted separate family room with a Sony 40" flat screen HDTV, PVR, Sony surround sound system, designer Queen Sofa Bed , ottoman and leather recliners. Kids can unwind or take in a movie in the family room, while grown-ups lounge in the luxury cross-hall living and dining room or on either of the front sun decks.

What makes this house unique

This house once featured an exotic and award winning back garden. It was loved and lived in by only two families since the 1940's. A decade ago we purchased it. We fell in love with this location and the convenience of walking to all the shopping and entertainment venues. If you love cycling, hiking and the outdoors this location is perfect for you. We often ride our bikes over the Lions Gate Bride and all around the Stanley Park Seawall even over to Kits and Point Grey. Locally we are 15 mins either way to Cypress or Grouse Mountain for skiing/hiking. Over the years this home has a been tremendously popular for longer term stays with artists, actors, musicians and sports figures. We recently decided to convert it to a shorter term rental and we are certain that the charm of this unique home will not be lost on you.

We had a fantastic stay at Sausalito North, and the front deck images of English Bay and Stanley Park are etched forever in our memories. The breath-taking views, the easy access to Ambleside Park and the sandy beaches and seawalk just down the road, Whistler, and Squamish gondolas and the treetop adventures and cliffwalk at Capilano Suspension Bridge are all close by, making your location perfect for a family on summer vacation. Staying in West Vancouver was definitely advantageous because it cut off a commute through the heavy traffic in downtown Vancouver, since most of the scenic attractions were on “your” side of the bay. Sitting in front of your picture window in the dining room improved every meal, and we found ourselves drawn outside to the English gardens in the back and the two decks in the front several times a day. In fact, several of us found books at Park Royal Mall’s Antigone Bookstore around the corner, and spent time reading outside every day. VRBO photos were accurate but didn’t completely capture the quietness, cleanliness, or beauty of the home that you have created, so it was fantastic to see those pictures come to life in 3-D. We also thank you and your husband for your attentiveness when we had a question, and appreciated the many guides, maps, and information you provided to help jumpstart our daily outings as we explored new sights. The extra toiletries were also a nice and handy touch, and the gas BBQ worked great. It took about five minutes to feel at home, and for each of us to find special cubbies in different rooms to call our own. We would not hesitate to duplicate our treks, and we would absolutely consider a return to Sausalito North. Thank you both for creating such a wonderful atmosphere and for truly opening your home to us so we could experience Vancouver and beautiful British Columbia. We also can’t also say enough about the summer climate, which never topped 65 degrees during our stay. The morning after we landed back in Phoenix, Arizona, the temperature reached 118 degrees. Thanks for your hospitality and attention to the details.

Great family vacation in a beautiful home with super views

We had a great vacation at this lovely home. Everything is cared for beautifully, and Lynn was very helpful. She gave us great suggestions for places to go and even helped us navigate to the property when we got lost on our way. For anyone who appreciates fresh air and amazing views, this house is perfect. Windows could be opened and allowed comfortable air circulation, and we had gorgeous weather as well. There is a nice park at the bottom of the hill, within walking distance for the younger and more fit in our group, and great restaurants nearby... a quick drive for those of us who were not up to the walk. Thanks so much to our host and hostess for an amazing week.

Glorious West Vancouver Rental Sausalito North

Our family spent a week in Sausalito North. We were thrilled with the house, the location and the amenities. The house was very clean, and well stocked with every imaginable high quality amenity. The house has incredible views and location is convenient shopping, town, beaches, parks, transit and many other conveniences. We are hoping to make another trip to Saulsalito North and look forward to seeing Lynn again.

Great location and great hosts!

My family and I are originally from West and North Vancouver and we are so happy to have found this place to come "home" to when visiting. The location is great, walking distance to Park Royal, the beach and playgrounds and other shopping on Marine Dr. The house is clean and was well stocked to make our stay easy. Lynn cares very much about the house and you can tell. Felt very relaxed and comfortable staying there and we will definitely be back!

We had a very relaxing time in this beautiful house with great views. The house was very clean and well stocked. Lynn checked several times to make sure we were happy and if she could help make our stay even better. Great house and amazing location

Vancouver used to be my home town, so returning to this fantastic city and finding this great home from home with definitely the best views and location was a gift! My family and I travelled from Colorado, New York, and the UK to attend a wedding. Lynn's attention to detail and her generosity in providing all kinds of creature comforts made it so easy for the travel weary to relax. No last minute runs to a store for things, she had thought it all through, it was all very much appreciated. I enjoy cooking and found the kitchen to be well stocked and great utensils, also the BBQ was in great shape. We spent so much time on the deck, the views are so spectacular. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and has easy access to shops, and the sea wall for walks and great breakfast places. Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park are just a stone's throw away. We all enjoyed ourselves and felt that at the end of a busy day it was a relief to know we had this home to come back to, we will definitely recommend this to our friends and hope to return soon.
