Built in 2015, the property is a second story, two bedroom apartment,. The lower level is a garage for the owner's personal use. The apartment has a full kitchen, and full bath with a shower, and a washer/dryer. This unit will sleep A maximum of 6 people in 2 twin beds per room and a queen size fold out sofa. A 39' flat screen TV with basic television and free WiFi are included. Deck on the marsh side with a propane grill, and table and chairs. Outside parking is available for up to two vehicles.
We really enjoyed our stay there! The rental was so clean and obviously very well taken care of (looked brand new!) We appreciated all the small touches from coffee provided to the small toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were so comfortable too! One downfall is that there is no beach/water access close by. There are some in the neighborhood but you kind of felt like you were walking through someone's yard to get to it. Being that it's called beach view retreat, we were disappointed with that. However, there is a lovely view from the property, both of the lake and the marsh. Only other downside is the property is at the entrance of the neighborhood so there was a lot of both foot and car traffic, stayed very busy and didn't feel very private. None of these were major deterrents to us enjoying ourselves but just a heads up for those unfamiliar with that area.
PROPERTY WAS PERFECT FOR US. THE ONLY DOWNFALL WAS THE POWER PLANT SMOKE STACK THAT WAS CLOSE BY BUT THAT REALLY DIDN'T BOTHER US, IT JUST WASN'T NICE TO LOOK AT.
Clean as a whistle, comfy beds, kitchen has everything you need. Nice view of the lake and a stream from the deck; watched a black crowned night Heron fishing while I had my coffee. This would be a great get away spot for a small group. Almost nothing nearby so probably not the place if you're looking to party.
We stayed here on a birding trip. I recommend this property without reservation. It is spotless. The kitchen is well equipped. There was even coffee in the cupboard. The beds are very comfortable. There is an abundance of extra pillows and blankets. The linens and towels are high quality. The owner has stocked the bath with sample sizes of toiletries as a thoughtful touch. We will definitely stay here again.

This rental is nearly brand-new, everything very fresh and well maintained. Cozy, nice getaway, across the street from Lake Erie. The deck looks onto the marsh where there are lots of birds to watch( saw an Eagle). Would definitely rent again!
The property is located on the shores of Lake Erie. It is in a private lakeside Residential community, with a fenced in playground, beach access, and marsh area for bird watching.
This is a residential area so parking/vehicle limits are enforced. There is a 2 vehicle limit without pre-approval. Vehicle is one car, van or truck, not including a trailer with equipment or boats. A vehicle with a trailer counts as two vehicles. These limits are enforced up to and including denial of occupancy and/or forfeiture of cancellation deposit.
The property is a short drive to the ferries to Put-in-Bay and Kelley's Island. About 4 miles from Magee Marsh and Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. Approximately 20 minutes to Port Clinton and African Safari Park, Deer Park, Monsoon Lagoon water Park, antiques, art galleries, boutiques., and Marblehead lighthouse. A half hour from Sandusky, OH attractions: CedarPoint, Soak City, Kalahari water resort. About 35 minutes from the Toledo Museum of art, the Imagination Station, children's museum, and Hollywood Casino. Located approximately a half an hour from Schedel Arboretum and Gardens. One mile from Davis Besse Power Station.
There is a marina within walking distance which offers, day docks and trailer parking, boat ramp, fish cleaning, bar/restaurant, and gas and convince store.
