I am a Registered Nurse at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. I rent my home during the summer months to help pay for my daughter's college. I want you to consider this a home away from home.
Michael or Christine Laden purchased this house in 2008

'The Nut Hut". Additional small 'Summer Room' in back yard with beautiful views and additional sleeping options! Large deck with table, chairs, umbrella and a large gas grill. Owners supply the propane for gas grill and wood for the fire pit. No team parties please.
My family loved staying at the Cozy Cottage while our son played at Dreams Park. The house is indeed a cozy cottage. It's beautifully decorated in a country style. The kitchen is stocked with just about any tool you could need. The kids loved hanging out in the Nut Hut. The wifi worked wonderfully. The drive to either Cooperstown Village or Dreams Park is a nice scenic drive of about 12 to 15 minutes. Really just a terrific place to stay. One caveat is that our cell phone providers (Sprint and AT&T) didn't have service at the house at the time of our stay, but the owners allow guests to use the house phone. Overall a great stay.
The house was very cute and clean! It was perfect for our baseball tournament in Cooperstown. The owners were very hospitable and came right over if we needed anything! I would recommend their home to any Cooperstown family travelers.
We spent a week here while my older son played baseball at Dreams Park. It was everything I could ask for in a home away from home. The kitchen had everything you could want including a kettle, pressure cooker, Ninja blender and coffee maker (not keurig). The Nut Hut out back was a favorite of my ten year old. The owner provided laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent and a selection of small toiletries. The house was built in 1850 and nicely renovated. Please note that the stairs are pretty steep and might be tough for older adults. I highly recommend this property.
The owners were wonderful and the house was very well stocked. We really enjoyed our time while at Cooperstown. We didn't get to enjoy the grill on the deck due to the weather but would have loved to! The view is breathtaking! I would recommend this house to anyone!
Our family was in town for the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament, and this home worked out wonderfully for us. The drive from the home to the park was only about 10 minutes, making it easy to go back and forth. There was never any traffic. The home was clean and well kept, as was the spacious yard. We are a family of 5 plus we had our grandpa with us, and there was plenty of seating and sleeping room. There were also plenty of TVs with cable (we brought our Roku for more viewing options but didn't need it except for MLB TV), strong WiFi connection, and plenty of kitchen/bathroom supplies. We had more than we needed. The house and setting are beautiful. The owners, Chris and Mike, were very nice and accommodating. I loved watching the woodchuck in the back yard in the evenings and the kids enjoyed the "Nut Hut". The air conditioners were good, with units in family room and both bedrooms. Everything worked. Ninja coffee maker with reusable filter, Ninja blender worked fine. Great water pressure in the shower. Chris provided a nice basket of toiletries with things a traveler might have forgotten. The towels were large, thick, soft and plentiful. Washer/dryer worked great and Chris provided the detergent/dryer sheets. There were plenty of games and books for rainy afternoons. I can't say enough good about this home, it really was perfect for us.
Comfortable with modern ammenities.
