About the property

5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 16

The home is made for fun! It boasts 4 levels and with 3575 square feet of living space can accommodate even the largest of groups comfortably. Three separate living spaces throughout the home make it easy to come together and enjoy some company or retreat for some relaxation time to yourself. With a beautiful stone stairwell as a centerpiece of the home, hardwood flooring, three levels of outdoor space, 8 flat screen TVs with DirecTV (a TV in EVERY room with over 50 movie channels and NFL Package!) and a beautiful wood burning fireplace in the game room, along with a Foosball table, casino table, and access to the outdoor hot tub, and regulation size horseshoe pit, this home suits everyone!

The kitchen sits on the main floor and is home to beautiful tiling, a sitting area with 50' flat screen tv, a huge rustic bench-style table, and all the accouterments one would need to cook for the entire group. The sliding glass door opens up to a wonderful deck overlooking the pine trees in the back yard. Moving upstairs is the queen bedroom suite with private bath and private living area including another 50' flat screen tv, futon, and kitchenette.

One level below the kitchen there are three guest bedrooms. The Master Suite has an attached private bath and jetted Jacuzzi tub, and a beautiful deck with access to the back yard. Also on this level are the bunk room with full sized bunk beds, the queen guest room, and a full bath. Each bedroom throughout features a flat screen TV and Directv programming.

The bottom level hosts a king bedroom with tv and huge walk-in closet, the game room featuring a foos ball table, 50' flat screen tv, comfortable couches, a wood burning fireplace, and a game table with several casino style games (Roulette, Blackjack, Craps, and Texas Hold'em). Walking out to the back patio you will find the fully fenced yard with a wonderful hot tub under the pines, a regulation sized horseshoe pit, a bbq grill, and a chiminea to keep your toes warm as you watch the stars go by.

You will be just minutes from I-17 and I-40, and surrounded by a reputable variety of dining and shopping options. The Arizona Snowbowl is a quick half-hour drive, and offers world class skiing at a family friendly resort. One of the seven Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon, is just over an hour’s drive north, providing some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. A multitude of activities are also available at the Canyon, including helicopter rides, donkey rides and hiking.

Be sure to ask for advice on hiking or cycling trips, ski/snowboard lessons and rentals, cross country ski and snowshoe trails, sledding areas, as well as any of the dozens of Flagstaff area attractions.

Amazing Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

Perfect place to stay close to flagstaff and have enough space and comfort for the whole group. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Would love to stay there again on our next flagstaff trip. The game room was a great location on the first floor where all the noise wouldn't be heard in the upper levels. I recommend this place to anyone with a larger group of people looking for a place to stay close to Flagstaff.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Reviewer Comments:

Myself and 7 friends (all MBA students) rented this house during out spring break and it served our needs beautifully. It was almost too big for us (though definitely not complaining!) The rooms and closets are huge. There are 3 full bathrooms and 1 half bath. Amble room to hang out as a group or by yourself. We were out and about all day so didn't even "party" in the evenings as we anticipated we might. We were usually asleep by 12! The hot tub was a great addition. Unlike some other reviews, I thought it was perfectly clean (and I think I'm pretty picky.) I honestly can't think of any real complaints other than it being chilly (and that's our fault for not turning up the heat.) The description doesn't say there is a blender so I brought my own (we really wanted margaritas) but there are actually TWO in the house!

Reviewer Comments:

We rented this house for 3 families to attend the Polar Express for our kids. This house easily held 6 adults and 6 kids. It is in a great location in Flagstaff to access whatever you would want to do. It would be a perfect house for a large group of people going skiing. The layout of the house is very vertical with 4 floors and lots of stairs. It's actually a fun layout for a vacation rental. It's certainly not a luxury house and it has it's quirks, but for the money it's a great value.

Reviewer Comments:

When we checked in, we soon discovered the place left much to be desired. My wife and I are not the most picky people in the world, but my wife was soon in tears when she saw the condition it was in. For instance: Dirty flatware and food crumbs in the kitchen drawer. Missing lightbulbs above kitchen table - not burned out - just not there. Outside lights in the front of the house did not work. Railing between floors so loose we feared it would fall off. Master shower barely drained, so you stand in a pool to take a shower; sliding pocket door latch to bathroom didn't work; sliding pocket door to bedroom off the tracks; oven mitts and hotpads so filthy you could change oil in your car with them and not notice; batteries in TV controller backwards, so remote didn't work, etc etc etc. To be fair, when we emailed them, they sent folks over to the house to work on the problems the next day, and they were EXTREMELY helpful, so most of the issues were resolved, nevertheless we should not have seen ANY of these problems in the first place. The house ultimately worked well for our needs, but we essentially paid for a full day when the house was a total mess. I have no idea if these folks intend to mend their ways and start maintaining the house as it ought to be or if they will continue to respond only to those who complain about it. Try your luck. I'm clicking on the "yes" for recommending this to a friend, but believe me, it would only be with great reservation. If you are picky, run from it.

A great place to stay if you have a big group. Well stocked and lots of bed rooms and bathrooms. The only thing to consider is if you have a person in your group that has difficulty with stairs, know that the place has four stories.
