Nice cabin, great location

  • 4 of 5

Perfect spot for a small family. The cabin is cozy, but everything we needed. It was unusually cold while we were there, so we had to run the heaters a lot and the driveway was a challenge, but once we got to the top, it was nice to hang out by the fire. The kitchenaid mixer inspired us to make some cinnamon rolls!

Owner's Response: Arriving in Tahoe after a significant snowstorm can be a challenge, I am glad that it worked out and that you had a great time. Hope to see you again, Michael

Amazing cabin in an authentic woodsy location.

  • 5 of 5

The property was amazing. Stocked with all the amenities one would need. We went with four Kids and they absolutely loved it. They enjoyed area with a small place to play right outside the cabin. Close to Tahoe City and lots of dining options. Kids also loved the Netflix movies to watch when winding down. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect, everything we needed

  • 5 of 5

This was a great find. We enjoyed staying at Da Cabin above the lake in a quiet forest setting but conveniently close to Homewood and the North Shore in general. The cabin was charming and comfortable inside. It was adequately stocked with everything we needed. Instructions were clear and provided well ahead for onboarding and leaving (which we hated to do).

Great location

  • 5 of 5

This little gem is in a nice quite neighborhood. The weather was perfect even though we were told no snow. There was a lot on the ground, it also lightly snowed (YAY) and we did need our 4X4. It was a tad hard to find the house numbers, so arriving before dark might be wise. The cabin is fully stocked just like home away from home. I'm a 5 star resort type traveler, so I was concerned with hauling wood, cleaning up...etc. My parents really wanted a family snow white Christmas and it really surprised me how fun it was. Plenty of room for 5 but 6 will work as well. The inside did not smell like animal considering they accept them. The owners are fabulous communicators and very hands on. I would not only recommend this property but, I'd also stay there again. Thank -you
