You will find yourself living among friends if you ever come to visit us. This manor has been in the family since 1830. This typical house from Charente was recently renovated in order to blend the charm of old houses and its 5 Stars comfort. It is between two private gardens of 3,000 sqm, with a secured swimming pool (10 m X 5 m). You will find peace and relaxation.
Housekeepers on-site. Meal and house services on request. Small pets allowed.
Bocce, ping-pong table, bicycles....
The manor can accommodate up to 14 people with the annex. Accessible for handicap person (contact owner for terms and conditions).
Outside the High Season 2024, it is possible to book a Weekend at the following flat rate:
- 3 days / 2 nights: 1600 €
- 4 days / 3 nights: 1800 €

Beautiful authentic French family home
We were very kindly received by Anne-Laure and her husband. The house is very authentic and just wonderful if you like this style. We spent 2 good and relaxing weeks in their family home. We had some minor issues with the pool and boiler, but these were quickly and firmly addressed by Anne-Laure and her brother. Anne-Laure and Frederique, thank you for allowing us to spend 2 weeks in your parental home!

Beautiful large house in quiet location.
Overall the house was very nice and beautiful with all needed amenities. The house is situated a bit remote so you will need to include driving time in your planning when going somewhere. We had some nice holidays with friends.

Belle demeure ayant une âme
Une grande maison de famille pleine de charme, meublée en mobilier d'époque. Certaines pièces (cuisine, serre...) pourraient bénéficier d'une restauration. Environnement très calme, beaucoup d'oiseaux (chardonnerets !). Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine du fait d'une rupture de produits d'entretien, mais la table de tennis de table et les vélos à disposition ont compensés ! Hôtes charmants et arrangeants.

Belle demeure pour accueillir sa famille, beaucoup de charme. Juste une remarque, le linge de table est particulièrement désuet. A renouveler pour donner une petite touche de renouveau. Un problème au niveau du chauffage qui a été réglé...

Très bon séjour dans un cadre exceptionnel
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le manoir à un vrai caractère et est conservé de manière à mettre en valeur son histoire. L’environnement est très tranquille, c’est reposant. Compte-tenu de la situation actuelle, les propriétaires ont été très arrangeants (notamment délais de paiement en fonction de l’évolution de la situation sanitaire). Nous avons passé un très bon Noël en famille. 9 adultes et 3 enfants et nous avions largement la place. Un sapin de noël décoré avait même été installé, et nous avons bien utilisé la salle de Ping Pong et apprécie le prêt de vélos.

I am the fourth generation of my family to live in this house. I arrived in St. Martin in 1939 where I lived the war as a child. It has been the family home ever since.
My mother was born in the house and lived in it for 91years after
my grandparents and great-grandparents passed it on to her.

All this to give an idea of the affection I have for this estate.

Why they chose this property

In order to keep it in shape (as I don´t live here anymore) and to ensure its maintenance, I thought it might be best for me to allow such a house to be shared with enthusiasts at least during the holidays.

What makes this property unique

The peace of the countryside.
The manor´s retro family atmosphere links itself well with the comfort of a modern equipment.
The situation is little known, but it is ideal for those who seek close tourist attractions (within an hour drive).
The availability and kindness of the housekeepers.
