Welcome to Lago Vista-our slice of paradise on beautiful Skaha Lake! We offer a custom built, up-scale executive 3000 square foot 4 bedroom 3.5 bath home with amazing views from all 3 levels. It is a great set-up for 2 families with 2 living areas on separate floors.

Main floor has a wonderful open modern floor plan with full focus on the amazing views. Sunken living room has leather furniture, flat screen TV, gas fireplace, built-in library of books & full length LAKEFRONT deck with seating for 5. Fully equipped kitchen with large island/eating bar with seating for 4, high end stainless appliances, 5 burner gas range with convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, professional ice maker and dining area with seating for 8. Powder room on main, plus convenient laundry room with washer/dryer and large mud room set up to accommodate skis, bikes etc.

Upper floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms have down pillows, quality mattresses & comfy bedding. Master bedroom retreat has romantic private LAKEFRONT balcony with bistro set, king size bed, walk-in closet & large ensuite with stand-up shower & soaker tub. 2 additional bedrooms have 1 queen & 1 double bed with loft areas and adjoining shared ensuite with tub and shower.

Lower level has a spacious second family room with flat screen TV, DVD player, bar area with sink, bar fridge, professional ice maker, games area with table and chairs for 6. 4th bedroom down has queen size bed, full bathroom with shower & shower seat which is great for grandmas and grandpas. The lower level also has a wall of sliding view doors that open to 3rd patio with gas BBQ, patio table and seating for 5.

We have a lakeside patio with pergola that seats 6 and is just above the beach and lake. We also have seating on our sandy beach.

Our home has great amenities including air conditioning, built-in vacuum, parking for up to 3 vehicles, Cable TV, WI-FI.

Have a boat or seadoos? We have a mooring buoy & dock.

Lago Vista has great outdoor options. From having your morning coffee off the main floor balcony, to ending your evening star-gazing off the topmost balcony, we have the best of all worlds. Relax and watch the kids in the fenced & gated grassy yard or enjoy the day at our lakeside patio. Feel the sand in your toes on our lovely beach or sunbathe at the end of our dock, it is all up to you! The beach gradually slopes to the water so is perfect for young children to wade into, plus we have a new dock with a swim ladder which is perfect for older kids to jump in and cool off!

Lake and yard access are from the lower level of the house. There is a short flight of stairs down to the beach.

We experience beautiful sun all day long and have wonderful sunsets at night. We are situated in a sheltered little cove only minutes from central Penticton with only 4 other neighbours.

This three level vacation home can sleep eight people very comfortably. We allow a maximum of six adults (older than 18) or four adults and up to four children (younger than 18). We can make some exceptions for the appropriate type of groups. It is great spot for up to three couples or two small families. The home could accommodate more, but we do not generally allow groups larger than eight. We are not interested in renting to large groups of SINGLES or groups under the age of 30.

To all potential clients - we only do SATURDAY TO SATURDAY RENTALS for JULY and AUGUST - sorry no exceptions. We will consider shorter term rentals from SEPTEMBER ONWARDS. Snowbirds?? We are within 20 minutes of over 40 wineries in Naramata, Oliver, Okanagan Falls & Summerland. Our home is just a few minutes from Skaha Lake Marina and central Penticton.

We are centrally located to all the top South Okanagan wineries such as Blasted Church, Painted Rock, Pentage, Noble Ridge, Blue Mountain, Liquidity, Dirty Laundry, Desert Hills, Burrowing Owl, LaFrenz, Hillside Estates, Poplar Grove, See Ya Later, Lakebreeze, Kettle Valley, etc.

July -Prospera Gran Fondo Event, and triathalons.

August - Penticton Peach Festival, Square Dance Festival.

Golf courses abound throughout the Okanagan valley. Cycling the Kettle Valley Railway is a memorable experience. The Skaha Lake Bluffs is a challenging climbing experience for many. Tubing, kayaking, water skiing, seadooing are all part of the fabric of life on Skaha Lake. Floating down the River Channel between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake is always a lot of fun. Don't forget to enjoy many fine restaurants in Penticton along with the many outdoor festivities like the Peach Festival, and Challenge Penticton. If you are feeling lucky the Lakeside Casino is a short 10 minute drive.


The South Thompson Okanagan climate makes Penticton an ideal golf venue. Long dry summers and short winters with very little snow keep players on the links.

Penticton is home to the only Okanagan golf course that stays open year round, while another local club lists available tee times from early February through mid-December.

Play any one of a dozen courses within 60km/37mi of Penticton, four of them right in the city. The Penticton courses are generally laid out with easy walking in mind, but they still deliver some terrific mountain and lake views and designs to challenge every handicap.

Championship Play

The Penticton Golf Club opened the first 18-hole course in the Interior of BC. Since then it has shifted location and developed the course for championship play. The current location, adjacent to the Okanagan River Channel in the heart of the city, is flat - definitely a bonus for players used to the significant elevation changes of many Okanagan courses. But that's the only concession to easy play.

Driving range hours depend on conditions. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and light dining. Pro shop and rentals are available.

Nine-Hole Executive Courses

Penticton is home to three 9-hole executive courses that provide three very different golf experiences.

Sage Mesa Golf Club

Sage Mesa Golf Club is a 2152-yard course, but alternate tee choices on each hole give players on this Arizona-style desert layout the feel of an 18-hole round. While advanced golfers tee up to drive from a cliff to the green far below and tackle a cross-canyon shot to the fairway, average players can skip the heroics and line up for safe shots. Loss of concentration is one of the biggest hazards on this par 33 course with wide open views of Okanagan Lake and the surrounding mountains. Amenities include the driving range and a snack stop.

Pine Hills Golf and Country Club

Pine Hills Golf and Country Club is another course with a view. Here the 9-hole layout overlooks both Okanagan and Skaha Lakes with the Okanagan Highlands for a backdrop. It can be tough to keep your eye on the ball! The 2127-yard course demands precision drives on narrow fairways and skill with the putter on undulating greens for a par 28.

Skaha Meadows Golf Course

Skaha Meadows Golf Course is designed for easy walking, but flat doesn't mean a stroll in the park. This 2435-yard course throws out plenty of obstacles with water hazards to intimidate and trees to boomerang shots that don't hold straight. Par 35 is just a dream for most golfers. Carts and rentals available in the pro shop.

Cleaning Fee of $250.00 charged per rental. A deposit of half the rental amount is due upon booking. The refundable damage deposit of $800.00 is applied to your overall rental when second deposit is due, 90 days prior to check-in. This is fully refundable if you cancel your booking more than 3 months prior to arrival date. Rental agreement must be filled out and returned to us within 7 days of booking.
