As you may know, Hurricane Matthew blew thru Hilton Head on October 8. We were very lucky as we had no storm damage so our home is available for rent.
Updated, single level, open 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath home in a quiet are of Sea Pines. Master Bedroom with king bed and a private bath and the bedroom opens to a deck that spands 3/4 of the back of the house and overlooks a private backyard that is perfect for grilling and eating outdoors. Second bedroom has a queen bed and a double futon. The third bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed. There are two family rooms, one with a TV, two sofas and a sleeper sofa and the other a 'conversation' room with two large sofas, fireplace and skylights and this room opens onto the deck. The kitchen is completely updated with granite countertops, stainless appliances and beautiful maple cabinets. The entry way, hallway and both family rooms have wood floors, while the kitchen is tiled for easy cleanup. The bedrooms are carpeted, bathrooms tile. A full size washer and dryer are contained in a hall closet for your convenience.
The home is an easy 1 mile bike ride to the beach. There are walking trails through the woods behind the house that take you to the Sea Pines Forest preserve. You can bike to Harbor Town where there are shops, deep sea fishing and restaurants. Fishing and crabbing in the lagoon is less than 50 yards from the backyard or head to the beach. Easy bike ride to the Beach Club or the Salty Dog Cafe at South Beach. The street is a quiet cul de sac perfect for small kids.
The Lawton Stables are a five minute walk out the back deck. We have 4 adult bikes and three kids bikes for your use along with skim boards, boogy boards and a boche set. There is a full unfurnished basement with a ping-pong table.
Sea Pines also has 3 beautiful golf courses with many more located on the island.
Weekly rates include cleaning and 11% SC taxes.

We had a great time staying at this Home for 10 days— perfect location near the Forest Preserve. Tons of bikes, games, sand toys, and a well stocked pantry made for an affordable stay as well. Awesome layout for our young family! I’d stay again in a heartbeat!
Close to beach, stables and nature preserve. Quiet location with private views. Plenty of bikes and other equipment for outdoor activities. Very nice overall.
Everything was fine including the weather. We only wish we could stay longer.

The house provided an excellent base for a very nice family vacation. The house had plenty of room for my wife and I and two adult sized kids. There really was nothing missing (cutting board perhaps?), and while the location is a bit away from the Sea Pines focal points, nothing is more than a few minutes away. Very comfortable beds and bedding-nothing cheap-which we appreciated. Take a break from the beach and go to the Harbor Town pool, very fun and underutilized. Having bikes is a bonus, because they are not cheap to rent. Would consider again.
Our family loved this home. It was clean and very spacious. The kids loved all of the choices of bikes and utilized them daily. The stables were also only a short walk away.
Hilton Head Island/Sea Pines is a family friendly resort town with all the amenities desired for a perfect beach vacation. Sea Pines offers the famous light house at Harbor Town, the Salty Dog Cafe at the South Beach Marina, The Preserve that offers fresh water fishing off of a dock for kids and walking trails, 18 miles of bike paths, 3 Sea Pines golf courses, shopping, many restaurants and the best beaches on Hilton Head. The Stan Smith Tennis Center is in Sea Pines and is available for your use. There are also two pools for your use: at Harbor Town and at South Beach.
