About Michelle

Our family lives in Charleston, SC. We love to travel and enjoy getting away to Wilmington. I grew up in the South and my husband grew up in the Northeast but came south as soon as he could. I graduated from Clemson University and he graduated from Norwich University in Vermont. We have a ten year old daughter and an eleven year old yellow lab - both of which enjoy travelling with us.

Michelle purchased this condo in 2006

Why Michelle chose Historic District

We fell in love with this home as soon as we saw it even though we had told ourselves we would never buy an historic home. For the first few years we owned it the home was rented to mostly students at nearby UNCW but we recently decided to completely renovate the house and once we saw the beautiful results we decided it would be a great homebase for people visiting the area.

What makes this condo unique

This home has so much charm and is in a great location close to everything downtown and an easy drive to some of the best beaches in North Carolina.

This is a beautiful apartment. The decorating is exquisite! It was perfect for 3 people. Close to downtown and on a nice quiet street. We were very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again!

great location, easy access.

  • 5 of 5

We just love working with Michelle! Very accommodating, understanding and helpful. The two bedroom is very spacious and yet cozy. Safe location with easy, fun walk to downtown. Walk to the river for a special sunset!! Everything you need for a great stay is in the apartment. We enjoyed a family Thanksgiving with family in the two bedroom apartment and family in the 3rd floor one bedroom apartment!!

Nice Apartment

  • 5 of 5

This is a nice, fairly large 2-bedroom apartment in a residential neighborhood south of downtown Wilmington. All the shops, restaurants, bars, and breweries are a 10 to 20 minute walk away through a safe and quiet area. We would happily stay here again.

So Charming and Lovely!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our Wilmington stay in the downtown historic district so much. We walked for coffee in the mornings on the brick streets and strolled to dinner in the evenings by the same meandering routes. The house itself was lovely - well decorated, warm, comfortable, lots of light but cozy. Plenty of space to relax and be rested. Beds were wonderful. Climate control was good. Did not experience any noise from other apartments in the house. Street was quiet but felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful property--close enough to walk to the riverfront, and only a 20 minute drive to Wrightsville Beach. Will be back for another stay!

Greatly contributed to our Wilmington weekend !

We were in town from Friday to Sunday for a family wedding. Not only did we have a great retreat for r & r, but we were 4 to 7 blocks from all venues.
