My family loved the location. We also loved Barbara. She is the best!

  • 4 of 5

The location was perfect for our vacation. We did experience a problem with the powder room toilet that unfortunately was never fixed during our stay because a part needed to be ordered☹️ Robert Cherry , the owner , took the time to check the bathroom issue and offered apologies for the inconvenience. The on-site beach and two pools are lovely. Nice restaurants are within walking distance and the number 10 or 12 bus will take you downtown Nassau for $1.25. US. Overall we would stay here again because of the close proximity of the location to our family and the great service from Barbara and the caring attitude of Robert.

Great Value

  • 4 of 5

This property is great value. We were a group of 6 adults and found we had plenty of space. A few issues we had were sorted out fairly quickly with Barbara, the property manager. The owner, Robert, was very easy to deal with and replied to requests promptly. The home itself could use some updating, but served it's purpose. The gated community was lovely as were the two pools. I was glad to have NOT rented a vehicle as the transit was excellent and affordable. Nassau is a very safe place to visit. Food very expensive in the grocery stores. The Poop Deck restaurant was a lovely setting (will even set you up outside right on the beach if you'd like) but the food was only okay. The Blue Sail restaurant is within walking distance and had wonderful ambiance and great food! We spent several days at Junkanoo Beach as there are restaurants and beverages available right there, but our favorite beach was Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island. The waves were large and a lot of fun. We loved the snorkeling off of Cable Beach right in front of The Poop Deck as well as on the coral reef just off of cable beach (we took a boat trip to snorkel and see the turtles). Our favorite excursion was to Exuma to swim with the pigs and even swam with nurse sharks. We went with Hidden Beaches. It was a long and somewhat ugly boat ride, but worth it when we got there.

We had a fantastic relaxing adventurous time!

  • 4 of 5

The townhouse was just as described. Three spacious, comfortable rooms, and three nice bathrooms. The kitchen was great and the deck with it's view, fantastic! We are a family of 5, 3 kids, 12, 16, and 18. The pools were nice and clean. The property was safe and very comfortable. Barbara, the property manager was phenomenal! She was very helpful, and had answers to all of our questions. The Jitney was perfect for getting around the island and to and from all the local beaches. We went to Love Beach, with a bar, someone to braid my daughter's hair and some music. We also went downtown on the Jitney. We were able to get a Jitney to take us all the way to Herratige National Park. The driver said he would pick us up at 4pm, gave us his # to call if needed. He was extremely reliable and met us at 4! Even called us to tell us he was on his way. The snorkeling at Herritage was good, able to feed the fish. If you walk down the trail about 15 min, you will come to a beach with a bar and an absolutely beautiful setting. It's right below Jaws Beach. Worth the walk! We ate at the Blue Sail. Fantastic. We also walked to Twisted Lime, good food. We also ate at the local Fish Fry. Very authentic food. Get the Conk Salad at one of the stands. Excellent! The grocery store is about 15 min walk, as well as the liquor store and a Wendy's, or just take the Jitney for $1.25 anywhere you want to go. I have to say, the snorkeling off of the townhouse was the best we encountered. If you go off the point, there is an awesome area. Also, we went off the cave area, on the left, great snorkeling, but we did encounter a 10ft. nurse shark!!! PS, He swam right away from us. Overall, Great Trip!!! A Very comfortable family place to stay if you are open to being around the locals. They were all very nice and helpful. It's not the Atlantis, but if you want a natural, local experience without the hustle and bustle and a whole bunch of tourist, this is your place!

Property nicely located.

  • 4 of 5

Property belonged to Mr Cherry. Property manager was Barbara. She went beyond helpful and was very very pleasant. Diligent worker thorough and precise. Very knowledgeable. She deserves a Hugh raise. Only concern is a new grill is needed. Between the beach and the pools you couldn't get any better. It was our family vacation and 22 of us were either in Deleport or Sandyport. Thank you for an enjoyable time. Security staff was nice and buses were plentiful.

Very Enjoyable Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We were very pleased with our recent stay in Robert's town home. As has been mentioned before, the photographs really don't do justice to the amenities that are available. First, the private beach that accompanies the property is one of the best, most secluded we've even seen, and is literally a 60 second walk. The oceanfront pool is also great, my 6 year old daughter spent at least 2 hours there every day.

The bus system makes it incredibly convenient to get anywhere on the island for just $1.25 per person, and they pick you up right outside the gate. There are two grocery stores, one within walking distance, the other about a mile past. If we had one negative it would be the prices of food in Nassau are about double what we pay here in the States, but having the full kitchen was helpful as we cooked breakfast and dinner every day, and only ate out for lunch.

If you're looking for something extravagant, this might not be your first choice, but if you're looking for something very reasonably priced that offers you everything you could possibly need, this is a solid choice. We would absolutely consider staying there again.

Have fun!
