About Sandra Guzas

My husband and I grew up in Worcester, MA and lived most of our lives in the Massachusetts area. When our children 'flew the nest' we decided to move to New Hampshire, which is where we currently reside. We have always wanted a home in Maine.

Sandra Guzas purchased this house in 2006

Why Sandra Guzas chose Bristol

We found this wonderful property in Bristol many years ago and were finally able to build our dream home as well as a comfortable smaller version for our children to use. We decided to open up our lovely smaller property to renters who could enjoy the peace and serenity of the area as well as the many activities available in the spring, summer and fall.

What makes this house unique

Centrally located to many attractions in the mid-coast area.

Guestbook comments from the owner

My wife and I would like to thank you for the use of your cottage, we had a wonderful time there. It was clean and well kept, just the right amount of space for the two of us. Boyd Pond was very relaxing we would do our morning walks on Quail Run Road and go to the pond after each walk and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Once again we thank you for the use of your home.

We loved our winter stay at the cabin. Hosts were excellent and everything was as promised. A quiet and beautiful area, perfect to get away, unplug, and unwind.

What a beautiful location and the cabin was wonderful!!!

Would truly rent this cabin again! It was very cozy and every amenity was taken care of. Access to Boyds pond was easy and even in the first week of April we where able to enjoy some kayaking. A wonderful place to explore!

Cozy Christmas Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Sandra, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your snug, cozy and quaint cottage over the holidays. Perfect place to stay while celebrating Christmas with nearby family. It was spotlessly clean with an open floor plan and very well stocked. We loved sitting by the gas pot bellied stove on the frigid nights. Snow was magical and a friendly neighbor kindly plowed the driveway.

We highly recommend The Cottage in the Pines and can't wait to visit again during the summer.

Felt like we were in the north woods while conveniently still being in coastal Maine. Access to the pond and kayaking was a big draw!

The only issue we had was the connectivity of the television, very slow connection, we couldn't watch a television show or movie. They should have a dish service or something similar.

Owner's Response: I' m. Happy you enjoyed our cottage. Our TV does stream movies as long as the internet is not used for other devices at the same time. Also if you subscribe to Netflix or similar you can access your subscription thru our Roku TV. There are free programs that are available for watching in addition to having a DVD player for movies.
