Easy Beach Walk To A Multitude Of Restaurants, Activities And Amenities

The property has two beach view bedrooms and one garden view room. The view of the beach is stunning but equally so is the view of our garden where our mother's green thumb shines through. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room for children or extra guests. Our house has its own private beach stairs and path for easy access to the beach. Be soothed to sleep by the sound of waves breaking on the shore. Beautiful deck overlooking the beach for your morning breakfast or afternoon cocktail. Sleeps 8 people. Perfect for families and couples looking for an adventure, romantic getaway or peaceful, relaxing time. Housekeeper included. Beautiful garden maintained by a gardener. Beautiful patio furniture for dining and chill-axing. We truly love our home, Kelly Krest, we are 3rd generation owners and our love for our home is reflected in the warm feeling you will get when staying and relaxing there. VRBO and Home Away accept an alternative payment method for our property which is validated by both companies . The payment is done through wire transfer to our Bahamian bank account as credit card payments can only be taken for American bank accounts .

About Shevaun Davies

Our house was built by our grandmother, Lady Roberts, as her vacation home in 1964, her husband Sir George Roberts, whom the public library is named for, was born in Harbour Island and was the member of parliament for Harbour Island. His son and our father, Noel Roberts, was also the member of Parliament for Harbour Island .

Our home is very family friendly and incredibly easy to entertain in. The view from the deck is dreamy especially to watch the sunrise. That should be on everyone's bucket list, to watch the sunrise sitting on the front deck of Kelly Krest, is stunning. There is a picture of it in our photos.

This was our 5th trip to Harbour Island and by far the most enjoyable to date! From initial contact with Shavaun (timely response), to payment methodology (do not be concerned about unfamiliarity with Bahamian and VRBO protocols- it is all legit!), to travel and arrival, and especially, to the accommodations- everything went as smooth as silk and better than anticipated!! We enjoyed 5 nights of absolute relaxation, dining in 2 nights and enjoying the local fabulous cuisine on the others. You know all the places to go- SipSip, Malcolm 51, the Dunmore, Rock House, Queen Conch- this list goes on and on. Mark and Rachel were very helpful during our stay, and Vida the housekeeper was most efficient in her daily tasks.

Kelly Krest is fully equipped- kitchenware, deck chairs, beach chairs, beach towels- everything you need on a day to day basis for the complete stay.

We enjoyed pleasant tropical breezes which eliminated the need for air conditioning, although it was nice to have a/c options in the nicely appointed bedrooms and baths.

Do your research on Harbour Island and when and where you want to visit there- then book Kelly Krest to top off the perfect vacation. We are already making plans to get back there

Harbor Island is quite special with all the amenities a 3 generation family could ask for from the beautiful pink sand beach for building sand castles, sun bathing and swimming to area fishing, wonderful restaurants, boat rentals, snorkeling, diving, and great weather. Perfect vacation

Our family had the perfect vacation at Kelly Krest! The house is on the famous pink sand beach and I loved waking up to the spectacular view every day and drinking coffee on the deck listening to the sound of the ocean. The house has everything you need and we enjoyed eating in every other night. The care takers Rachel and Mark answered every question we had and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Having stayed there, we would never go anywhere else when we return!
