About the area
Sunriver
Located in Bend, this vacation home is in the mountains and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Fort Rock Park and Deschutes River, while Hayden Homes Amphitheater and High Desert Museum are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center and The Cove. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or check out other outdoor activities such as ice skating and snowmobiling.
This home was perfect for our extended family. We each had our own space and the common living areas met all our needs. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.
The house was everything that was stated. The proximity to the village and Sharc were wonderful. All the bikes were in good condition, I would recommend bringing a bike lock, just precaution. I would recommend it to anyone.
This home was a great fit for 4 adults and 2 small children. We loved its location. Due to lots of pollen we had to clean off the back deck so that we could use it. Two of their bikes were dangerous (the blues ones). On one of them the back wheel was not tightened down and on the other the brakes would engaged randomly full force. Super dangerous!! And we discovered that the SHARC center was closed until the middle of our stay because they did not consider the first two weeks of summer to be June (but we paid the summer rate for the VRBO). If you can handle these issues it is a good place to stay.
Second time staying here! House is clean and communication with the owners is great. House is as advertised, comfortable, warm and cosy for a winter break. Walking trail to SHARC and village runs just behind the house.

When we took our first jobs in Oregon, we thought it would be for just a few years and then we would return to the Midwest. Now 40+ years later and retired, we continue to love all parts of Oregon and especially Sunriver.
Why they chose this property
We first visited Sunriver in the late 1960s. We returned off and on until the 1990s and then had the opportunity to secure our vacation home. We knew with growing children that they and their children would enjoy Central Oregon as much as we have over the years. We certainly made a good decision and now everyone can't wait for their next Sunriver trip.
What makes this property unique
We are fortunate our home is located close to the park and now the new aquatic center. We just bale out the back door and we are on the bike path and a new adventure. The clear crisp mornings and the warm afternoons are our favorite times of the day. Look up from the hot tub at the stars is unbelievable. We never tire of the beauty of Central Oregon.
