Hebrides Hideaway is ideally situated in one of the most beautiful areas on the north shore of Prince Edward Island. Within ten minutes drive of Cavendish, Prince Edward Island National Park and world-class golf courses, this three bedroom waterfront cottage is located in the heart of the private Hebrides cottage community. If you get tired of kayaking, strolling the red sand beach and digging for clams just outside your front door, you are a one-minute walk from a private, 9-hole golf course, mini-golf, in-ground heated swimming pool, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor shuffleboard, pool room and horseshoe pit, all part of the rental price. Perfect for families and couples.

This 1,100 sq. ft. two-story, cedar shake cottage framed by rose bushes would have to be described as quaint on the outside with all the modern amenities on the inside. Sit on the deck and watch blue herons and eagles during the day. Cook marshmallows around a campfire at night and drink in the millions of stars. Watch DVDs on the flat-screen TV or reconnect with board games and books. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom/shower; the second bedroom includes two double beds and the third bedroom includes a double and a single bed. A second bathroom/shower is located on the upper floor. The open concept main floor allows the conversations to continue from the kitchen, the dining area and the living area facing the beach. The Hebrides Hideaway has only been rented for one year on select dates and has all the personal touches and charm of a family-owned cottage.

Cavendish and Prince Edward Island National Park is only a 10 minute drive from the cottage. Here, you have access to pristine ocean beaches, several of the top public golf courses in Canada, amusement and water parks for the kids and the famous 'Anne of Green Gables' village. You are a 5 minute drive from the Stanley Bridge fishing village. Wander the stores for antiques and local crafts, launch your boat and buy some fresh seafood to grill on the BBQ when you get home. Almost every summer weekend you will find festivals and attractions, both locally as well as in the 'big city' of Charlottetown 40 minutes away.

Note that the rates posted can be confusing because the site does not make it clear whether they are in Cdn. or US currency. We charge $2,100 CDN per week (inclusive taxes) during peak season of roughly July 1st to August 31st, and $1,450 CDN per week during the 'shoulder seasons in June and September. Sorry for the confusion but we have no control over this feature.

Check in is normally no earlier than 3:00PM on Saturdays. Check out is no later than 10:00AM on Saturdays. We need that time to get ready for the next guests.Taxes are included in quoted rates.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
