Description:

Enjoy wine tasting and award-winning vineyard touring at the tastings held each weekend. Magnificent 3bdrm, 2bath, 4500sq.ft loft; enormous greatroom, gourmet kitchen. Breathtaking farm views, landscaped backyard w/dining table for 12, modern appliances/entertainment system, centrally located amidst vineyards/farms, 3-car parking (more if needed), private entrance, contemporary high end décor.

Unique modern, open loft space perfect for cooking, entertainment, and just relaxing indoors or out. Located smack in the middle of Long Island wine country, nestled between three of the finest vineyards on the North Fork.

Full access to all apartment amenities, including fully appointed kitchen, barbeque, fully stocked with wine glasses, china, etc. Easy and quick access to both Sound and Bay beaches. Near Love Lane, which boasts true gourmet shops, and the Mattituck Shopping Center with supermarket, drug, and snack shops, as well as a Cineplex with 8 screens. All appliances and electronics are accessible, including cable TV, Wi-Fi, hi-end music system, kitchen appliances and accessories, washer/dryer, etc. A housekeeper and groundskeeper are available for special requests, as are the owners, who live nearby. We will make every effort to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We love the North Fork and want you to as well.

Happy to advise guests on what to see and do on the North Fork. We will greet guests on arrival and familiarize them with the area and the apartment.

Mattituck is right in the center of the North Fork, equidistant from the Tanger's Mall on the one hand, and charming Greenport on the other. It is in the heart of the North Fork Wine Country (Bedell Cellars, Corey Creek, Lenz, etc.) as well as the finest farms and produce vendors (Sang Lee, Satur Farms, etc.)

There are magnificent beaches on both the Sound and Bay sides that are peaceful and never crowded. Marinas abound where you can park or rent boats and watercraft, or you can partake in the 'agritainment' on nearby farms for Pumpkin Picking, Hayrides, Night Mazes, and more.

The North Fork has much stricter zoning than the South Fork, as well as much more protected land, so you will experience true farmland and vineyards, vs. developments and overpopulation. It is literally the best of both worlds, the beach and the country.

There isn't too much local transport, although the Jitney and trains that service the North Fork make it easy to get here. There are several car rental offices. Bicyclists have made the North Fork a prime touring location, and many bicycle and motorcycle groups can be seen regularly enjoying the smooth roads and enthralling landscape.

Each of the towns on the North Fork has its own charm, and all are within a stone's throw. Greenport, a fishing village, retains its charm with great seafood restaurants, massive docks with tall ships, yachts and private vessels, plus seaside attractions (ex., Preston's, Claudio's, Scrimshaw, etc.) and many fascinating shops.

Orient Point has its own magic, secluded charm; and Southold, Aquebogue and Laurel each offer special places to visit.

The Greenport Ferry is a ten minute ride to Shelter Island, and the Orient Ferry takes one hour to reach Connecticut. But chances are, once you're on the North Fork, you won't want to leave.

There is a regulation recently imposed on the North Fork requiring a minimum of two week rentals. Thus, we may need to reserve a longer period for you, but charge you only for the time you stay.
