We are happy to share details about our area and assist in making your stay a memorable experience or leave you entirely to yourselves; this is a private space with separate entry so there is no requirement to interact, but we would also enjoy sharing a cup of tea or glass of wine with you if the time is right!
This is a great community and a beautiful, healthful place to live; we look forward to sharing it with you.
Privacy but open, expansive views; quiet beauty and many ways to enjoy it, play as hard or as easily as you like - it's all good!
Came for XC skiing and Supertour at Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Apartment is very convenient for that purpose. What was surprising was all the additional reasons to book this place. Newer comfortable space, wonderful views, kitchen with everything, health food co-op just down the road, wax bench, luxurious bathroom, quaint farmhouse, fresh eggs, wonderful hospitality. We will rebook soon just to have vacation to see everything we missed.
My family and rented the apartment to be close to a family wedding. It was the perfect location. The apartment is very nice looks fairly new and has all the conveniences of home. Grace was nice enough to share her chickens' eggs which of course we had for breakfast.
Her gardens are beautiful! Very serene setting. I wished we could have stayed longer.
My husband forgot his pillow and Grace was kind enough to ship it to us. Very thoughtful!
The only slight negative was the day bed in the living room. I think it would be fine for a child but a bit uncomfortable for my adult daughter.
We would definitely stay here again!
This is our first experience with HomeAway and it was a most pleasant one. The apartment over the garage where we stayed was comfortable and well equipped. Our host was gracious but not intrusive. The garden around the house was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Sitting on the deck sipping wine with miles of vista in front of us was a calming joy. We slept well, enjoyed scrambled eggs for breakfast using eggs provided by our host from her chickens, and were able to truly relax. We highly recommend the place.
We enjoyed a lovely week in Vermont as guests of Grace and Kip! The apartment is clean, airy and welcoming. Grace's gardens are incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed fresh raspberries and blueberries straight out of the garden as well as eggs from the "girls." Grace is a warm and gracious host and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Vermont countryside. We hope to return in the future!
Panoramic views indeed! The apartment, the setting, and the host exceeded our expectations. Incredibly clean and very comfortable, my family enjoyed a very relaxing four days here in August. Grace is suburb host, who made us feel quite at home. The area has good hiking spots and places to explore. You won't be disappointed!
We were so happy to stay in this beautiful, roomy apartment that feels like a home. It was very clean, comfortable and the views were awesome. The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast of fresh scrambled eggs from the chickens we watched. We ate breakfast and dinner outside on the deck overlooking Grace's beautiful, extensive garden adorned with flowers and rock sculptures. Grace was very friendly and helpful. We came up for our son's wedding but we hope to return to this peaceful haven again!
This is great country to bike, ski, walk, hike, and paddle. We have incredible natural beauty, lots of room to play, and good food and drink with which to celebrate it all. We are at the center of the localvore, organic food movement, a short drive to Hill Farmstead Brewery, winner of Best Brewery in the World 2013, nearby is the Alchemist, another award winning brewery. Caledonia Spirits produces medal winning gin and vodka, we are home to the Buffalo Mountain Food Coop, Pete's Greens, and Jasper Hill Farm, winner of multiple Best Cheese awards. Life is good :)
