Indoor Pool, Hot Tub, Fireplaces, Golf, Park-like setting. Family Reunion Place!

Beautiful, executive home with 3 levels, living room, conference/large dining room (seats 24) , small dining room (seats 6-8), theater/billiard room, huge indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub, 8 private sleeping rooms + 2 common sleeping areas (10 sleeping areas total) and 7 bathrooms. Beds/sofa beds to sleep 34 people. Extra portable bedding for a total of up 40 people for larger family reunions and certain group situations - submit inquiry for details. Exceptional for family reunions and retreats.

Note: Pool and pool room heating fee will be added for the months of November through March if you wish to use the pool for your group during those months. Both the pool and pool room are heated with natural gas. The fee depends on the expected outdoor temperatures and the number of nights reserved. Please submit an inquiry with your dates and number of adults and kids rather than an instant booking for an accurate quote for these months. We heat the pool to 84 degrees and the pool room to 80 degrees for your comfort during these months.

Amazing Property
An absolutely amazing property that was perfect for our large family gathering. The pool was huge and the highlight for us (especially the kids) and made us never want to leave the house. I don’t think we’ve ever had a family get together where the house was more perfect. The dining table is huge and can hold close to 20 people. It’s little things like that really enhance a large groups experience. Usually when we eat at different rentals there are people at an island, people at the table, people in the living room sitting on the couch etc. Here we all sat at the table together. Even though a rental may be advertised as a 15-20 person house, some part of the house is really only good for 6-8 people. This house is truly good for 20-30 people in every possible way. The host is very accommodating and helpful. An overall great experience.

The property is very large. Every thing you need is there. Our family was quite happy. The beds were very comfortable. The pull out couches could use some memory foam or newer mattresses. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful time!
Our group had a wonderful time staying at the Winchester Guest House. The place was very clean and had so much space! The kids absolutely loved playing in the pool. Ted was fantastic to work with and we would absolutely recommend staying here if you are looking for a family and friends gathering!

Ted is a graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. is Telecommunications and a Business Administration Minor. In addition to directing activities at the Inn, Ted and daughter Kiera - an Indiana University graduate founded Uncharted Pixels LLC - a web services, branding, and video production services company.. Ted is also a private pilot.

Debbie manages the housekeeping functions making sure the cleaning team work is done properly amd the home is up to her exacting standards of cleanliness and comfort. She was awarded the Hoosier Hospitality award by Indiana's Lieutenant Governor!

Debbie attended Indiana University East in Richmond and has worked in the healthcare, childcare, and social services fields during her career.

Why they chose this property

After living near Chicago, St. Louis, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati, We purchased this property to get back to our Hoosier roots near the Whitewater River valley. Both Ted and Debbie were born in Richmond just 25 minutes south of the property. Winchester is a great little town brimming with family values, lots of churches, nearby shopping, and close to our family.

What makes this property unique

With six park-like acres, 3 fireplaces, and an indoor pool and outdoor hot tub, a conference room that seats 20, separate formal dining room that seats 6-8, a nice patio with seating for large groups, outdoor fire pit, and nearly 6 park-like acres, this property has everything you are looking for in a family reunion or retreat destination!. This home has something for everyone!. The older folks can sit by the living room fire or on the patio and have great conversation while the kids enjoy the pool or the theater/game room. The teenagers can play volleyball and badminton on the east lawn while the guys head over to the award winning 27 hole golf course and the ladies go antique shopping. We have a game closet filled with board games and playing cards. Free WIFI is available throughout the property and most rooms have 4K TVs with HDMI connections. The winery tours are a great option with live entertainment on some summer evenings. Fishing is available in the nearby towns of Farmland, Richmond, and Muncie. The historic Winchester Speedway "the worlds fastest half mile" is 10 minutes away offering pulse pounding high banked auto racing and Eldora Speedway (about 45 minutes) offers awesome dirt track racing in the summer. Take a day and enjoy the Antique Alley trails for great shopping and don't forget to stop by Silvertowne for a unique gift shopping experience in Winchester. But you may never want to leave the property. This is truly a great family home with all we have to offer on the premises! Perfect for reunions and large family gatherings.
