The gourmet kitchen, fantastic home theater system and spectacular pool/backyard makes this home perfect for relaxing, family fun and entertaining.

About Jeff Duvernay

We have lived most of our lives in alaska and finally purchased our own place in the sun. Unfortunately for us, and lucky for you, we still have kids in school and cannot spend as much time in the desert as we would like. We are working hard at furnishing our vacation home the way we want it and with the creature comforts that we seek when vacationing ourselves. Right now it is a work in progress but we are well on our way and look forward to sharing this great home with you.

Why Jeff Duvernay chose Camelback Shadows

We were staying down the street from this house and noticed it was for sale. We weren't really in the market but looked into the backyard while on a walk one day and it blew us away. We absolutely love the location, walking distance to dynamite restaraunts, fun bars, and THE GELATTO SPOT! You add great shopping, golfing, hiking, etc and only 15 minutes from the airport and we had to have it.

The pebbletech pool is gorgeous and is 13' deep so it stays cool and refreshing in the summer. We just converted it to saltwater and installed a heater so we can fully enjoy it year round. We also added a gas fire pit to gather around in the evening.

What makes this house unique

We are 'foodies' and love to cook, entertain and enjoy discovering good places to eat. We have a Trader Joes and a new Whole Foods 2 1/2 miles away and we are about a mile from AJ's (Amazing wine selection and butcher shop). We also have some excellent restaraunts within walking distance (Central Bistro & Tarbell's) and many more within a couple mile radius (Chelsea's Kitchen, Postino, LGO, Beckett's Table, True foods) and the list goes on and on.

First Class all the way!

The property was great in all respects. The house itself was quite large and very clean, plenty of room to spread out and play pool, shuffleboard or watch Netflix. The outside was beautifully landscaped, the pool itself is quite large and clean, very relaxing spot! Jeff, the owner, is very easy to deal with and responsive. I would give this location my highest recommendation!

Home away from Home

Property looks just like the pictures. Beautiful. Has everything you need when your on vacation and more. The backyard with the nice size pool was like being at a resort. House is up kept and very manicured. More than enough room for family of 8. Only about 20 minutes from the baseball fields for Spring Training. If still a rental in 2 years plan to go back. Had a great week.

Nice Property

Nice property. Very nice backyard with heated pool, gas grill and gas fire pit. Owner is very responsive and easy to deal with. House was nice, and the bathrooms worked well, but could use some updating. location was great and very convenient since it was around multiple shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

The house is well-stocked with supplies (towels, blankets, kitchen gear, etc.), very well maintained, clean, and with an abundance of activities for kids. The pool and yard are fantastic. Perfect Stay

This house was fantastic. In the heart of Phoenix, this property has it all. Location, cleanliness, space and a lot of fun.

The description and photos in VRBO exactly matched expectations during my stay. The kitchen was big and was fully accessorized. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable with nice linens. We loved the game room (pool table, darts, shuffleboard). The living room was spacious and had a great entertainment center. The backyard was huge. We utilized the BBQ, fire pit, outdoor patio furniture and pool (which was nicely warmed to 84 degrees).

Jeff provided great communication, an informative instructional guide and was always available.

Lastly everything in Phoenix is less than a 10 minute drive from the location. The street the house is off of has tons of great food options just seconds away. Hiking, golf, the zoo, downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale and the airport are just down the way.

We will definitely be renting at Camelback Shadows again! Thanks again Jeff!
