Capt. Dave (Merf), and Sue Murphy are from the Florida Keys, near Key West. Merf is a retired airline pilot, and Sue is a retired mother/landscaper, who started to hatch a plan to leave Hurricanes behind and move to Panama, Central America, in 2006 The plan was to build and run a small fishing/eco-tour resort. Well let's be optimistic and just say the project has been delayed for a while. So in the mean time Sue is following her dreams of running the eco-tour side of the business with kayak tours up the estuary, and Merf is running the charter boats, specializing in Big Game Fishing. The Beached Bungalow has recently been finished and we are looking forwarding introducing our clients to some of the most amazing nature available anywhere on the earth. This cabin, now called 'the Beached Bungalow' started life as a floating hotel room, but didn't like the Nortera winds, so we took the only safe option and beached it...thus the name. It is in a truly mystical location and has been described as Romantic, and Totally Isolated. Many water activities such a Big Game Fishing, and Eco-Tous are available, as well as many land based activities such as Horse back riding, and Zip Line tours. This cabin is rented as a Bed and Breakfast, and there are local restaurants for more service. The cabin itself sleeps 2-3 and has a King Bed, Single Bed, Full Bath with running hot water, a sitting area, and a large outside patio, built out over the mouth of a beautiful peaceful bay! The entire cabin is built out of local hardwoods, to add a certain level of charm, and warmth. The view to the West includes fantastic sunsets across the water, and to the North a spectacular view of the Continental Divide with volcanos.

The Unique location of the "Beached Bungalow" really says it all! The ocean coming in & going out 15 ft - twice a day, parrots & hummingbirds flying overhead, howler monkeys passing by in the trees overhead...... and You are ALL by yourselves, nestled into the shore!
