About Ken and Michelle Frankenberger

Ken and I met in 2005 and married in 2007. Ken grew up in northeast Arkansas and I am from east Texas. We purchased our retirement home in the Village in 2013 while still living and working in Houston. In April 2016, we got out of the Houston rat race and retired to our quiet little spot of heaven in the Village. We enjoy RVing and seeing the country so we continue to rent the house when we are traveling. We have found it to be a win-win situation!

Ken and Michelle Frankenberger purchased this house in 2013

Why Ken and Michelle Frankenberger chose Hot Springs Village

We both love Arkansas and chose Hot Springs Village for our retirement because 1) central location for our families to visit and 2) we love to play golf and 3) it is just a beautiful place to live with all the trees, hills, lakes and very friendly people!

Great place.

  • 5 of 5

This is the fourth time I have rented this house. It is great. The lake view and surrounding yard is beautiful. The house is clean and well taken care of.

Our party of five was completely comfortable, as was the first group of 8 that I brought there. Thanks, Michelle and Ken.

Owner's Response: Thank you Reveland. We so enjoy having you and your tennis players. I so admire all the 70+ age ladies competing in the tennis tournament here at the Village. Hard to believe it has been 4 years! Look forward to your next visit. Michelle

A real paradise

  • 5 of 5

We spent 4 nights here during spring break, everything was perfect! The house is clean and very cozy. Although the pedal boat was broken, we enjoyed kayaking and canoeing very much. The kitchen has everything a cooker can think of. It's easy to just stay in and around the house, and not even think to go anywhere else. It's a real paradise!

All the comforts of home with a peaceful lake view!

  • 5 of 5

As we watched so many beautiful birds coming and going from the feeders on the deck of this home, I quickly felt that this lakefront house was very peaceful and simply...lovely!

We really enjoyed all of the comforts offered here, including the pretty lake views, the very comfortable beds, linens, and pillows, the huge tv-and numerous movies in the family room, and the warm decor throughout the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have wanted.

Our stay was wonderful-we didn't want to leave! Without hesitation we would happily book this home again!

Wasn't impressed with Hot Springs, or the maze of roads getting in and out of Hot Springs Village.

Owner's Response: So sorry you didn't enjoy Hot Springs. The Village roads are somewhat challenging but so worth the effort. I am glad the accommodations worked out for your group. Thanks for trying us! Michelle

Great vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We shared this house with some friends of ours and we all loved it! The house was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. We loved sitting out on the back deck in the mornings with our coffee and look over the lake. It was nice for our 4 kids to have their own space in the downstairs bedroom and there was plenty of room for them to sleep and watch movies and play down there. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and peaceful. We loved our vacation and would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Hot Springs area.
