Relax in the mountain setting, enjoy the views from the hot tub on the deck. Bottom level has 2 Queen bedrooms that share a jack & jill bathroom.... State of the art laundry room. Two separate living areas... We are longtime Breck locals who LOVE this town and these mountains. We spend part of the year in Denver, and rent our home on Peak 7 so that others can enjoy what we consider the best spot in Summit County! Dave is originally from Wisconsin and Courtney, from Kentucky. We have made our home in Colorado because we love all that the Rocky Mountains have to offer. We love to ski, snowboard, snowmobile, boat on Lake Dillon, hike, and camp.
Courtney Harreld purchased this house in 2012
Peak 7 is a great place to stay because of how close it is to the skier parking lots & town. You can park in the free lot or by the Gondola (pay lot) to access Peak 7,8,& 9. The house is 5 minutes from these lots. On Peak 7, you feel like you are miles away from anything yet it is literally 5 minutes to the grocery and liquor store. We see lots of moose, deer, coyote and the occasional bear right from our back deck. You can see the new Peak 6 ski runs from the front porch. There are awesome trails about a mile up the road (with parking) that are maintained by the Breck Nordic Center - accessing the Hallelujah Hut and Kathy's cabin. Perfect for snowshoeing or cross country skiing.... The Peaks Trail intersects these trails and can take you all the way to Frisco if you are up for a longer hike.
We love this home for many reasons, but mainly for it's location and incredible views outside every window. You can see all the way down valley to Buffalo Mountain (Silverthorne) from the kitchen window. The alpenglow goes on for hours and is amazing to watch from the hot tub.
The house is divided up into 4 levels that are all open to each other with the great room ceiling reaching 30 feet high. An open floor plan that still has great privacy for the bedrooms and bathrooms. There is also a fenced yard in the back that has a nice grassy area, perfect for summer picnics and great for kids (flat and fenced), but also has a 'wild' yard with a swing and a tree house beyond the fenced in area.
We stayed at this amazing home in July 2017 with another family (4 adults with kids ages 17,20 &21). The location is perfect for a true mountain experience far enough away from the touristy areas but close enough to attractions and restaurants (less than 10 min from Breckenridge Main Street). We were sold on the beautiful backyard including a deck, hot tub, patio, grill, swing, fire pit, and a cool treehouse.... everything to enjoy the amazing views of the mountains from the backyard. We saw moose, mule deer and hummingbirds among the gorgeous wildflowers and it was the setting for senior pictures for my daughter. There is a trailhead for great hiking about a mile down from the house. The home is very comfortable and well stocked with supplies and the garage gameroom has skeeball, air hockey and fooseball. The owner, Courtney, was very helpful and accessible with recommendations on restaurants, activities, hikes, and attractions. She really helped make our first trip to Colorado a very memorable one for our family! We can't wait to visit again and we would definitely stay here again!
The house was beautiful, and the views were absolutely stunning! It was extremely spacious - slept 9 of us very comfortably. The location was great, as we were just a short ride from Main Street and the gondola, both of which we frequented often. It was also an easy drive for us to get to Copper Mountain, where we went tubing one day. The hot tub and master suite's jacuzzi tub were lifesavers after a long day on the slopes, and the games in the garage kept our 9-year old busy for hours! All in all, the house was a gem, and the pictures we saw before arriving didn't do it justice- it far exceeded our expectations! It helped make our trip to Breckenridge (the first time there for most of us) a wonderful one! We look forward to our return in the near future!
House and ammenities were Great!! Incredible views from back patio hot tub. Plenty of room for all 10 of us!! Great for all things Breck/Cooper Mtn. Courtney was great as well. She was very attentive and timely in her communication. A+
The layout of the home was great, hot tub and outdoor space was perfect for our group! The owners responded quickly to our questions.
Had a lovely time with friends at this home. Centrally located and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I would definitely recommend this place!
My group really enjoyed the property. Great location. Close to main street and close to skier access. Would love to stay again!
Our house is located on Peak 7, just outside the town of Breckenridge, and less than 2 miles to the base of the ski area. Mountain setting, with views of the Ten Mile Range and Buffalo Mountain, yet only a 5 minute drive to the historic town of Breckenridge's Main Street, where you will find restaurants, bars, shops, spas, museums, arts district, ski rentals, bike rentals etc. The perfect place if you want to have a 'mountain' experience but have easy access to what the town has to offer. We are on a large private lot, very quiet, spectacular views and plenty of space to relax in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains.

We do not rent to people under the age of 25. Sorry, we tried this and got burned every time and our house got trashed. We require the names and birth dates of each person staying at the house. A copy of the driver's license of the primary renter is also required. Extra guests are an additional $50 per night, per person.
