Jack's 2 is a recently renovated 100 year old house located in a quiet residential street which enjoys a view of the valley, town & St Jo's church spire. Easy walking distance to the Main Street shops & restaurants and for extra convenience the Riesling trail is at the end of the street. Light, airy & spacious, character laden including original hard wood floors with contemporary kitchen & decor for easy living. Welcome pack with complimentary continental breakfast provisions.

Perfect for singles, couples or families, two bedrooms offer King beds & TV, the third small room has a single day bed, also a single fold out bed in the living room. Open plan living, dine & kitchen with direct access to the deck & outdoor living. Adjacent is the BBQ pit & garden.

Charming and quiet house in a charming area.
The house was very spacious and well equipped. The first morning’s breakfast was very nice consisting of eggs, spinach, cheese, bacon, toast and juice. There was cereal and toast for the remaining days. The amenities state that there is a clothes dryer but this is just a drying rack if you are in a hurry. My husband appreciated the espresso machine. I appreciated the tea pot. The house is very conveniently located in Clare.

Could not have been a better stay in Clare
There are so many great things to say about this adorable house in Clare. Communication with Sue from booking to check in was easy and quick. The house is so well stocked with thoughtful and useful items, from treats to breakfast, wine glasses to really comfortable bedding (and beds!) - we loved it all. We made use of the pretty outdoor spaces, and even when it was pouring rain it was pleasant to be able to spend time on the covered deck. The house is perfectly located for access to Woolworth's and the little downtown area as well as the Riesling Trail which is an easy walk the other direction. Great stay, highly recommend Sue and this lovely space if you're visitng Clare.

Beautiful home
Beautiful home in a great location, just a short walk to the Main Street and playground. Super comfortable beds and a beautiful relaxing outdoor space. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Clare!

Mid summer weekend in Clare
Delightful property in a great location with wonderful outdoor area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Particularly enjoyed the proximity to the Riesling trail, great for early morning jogging and walking. Very comfortable for four, but tricky with 5 adults as the third bedroom is accessed through one of the other bedrooms. Clare is very hot in January and only one bedroom ( and the living room/ kitchen) had an air conditioner so the other bedrooms were a little warm in the evenings, but I think outside mid summer this would not be a problem.

Often not fortunate enough to meet them in person (I like to give my guests ownership of the space while in residence) at least corresponding via email / phone so I feel I've helped make their holiday or short break a great experience.

Life's pleasures for me are family & friends, food, wine, books, cooking, live theatre, markets, bike riding & lap swimming with my teenage son, and time out walking with my partner.
