It was beautiful and looked just like the pictures!

The poperty and the grounds were amazing! We loved having access to a cooler and all the fun sand and water toys. The washer and dryer was also very helpful since we brought along our 4 kids :)

Comfortable and Spacious

My family (me, husband, and two teenagers) had a lovely stay in Konea 508. The floorplan is perfect for a family that requires for individual beds. The unit was equipped with most of our needs. Like most condos, the kitchen pots/pans are limited but that is to be expected.

The property management contact, Jill, was very attentive to our needs and addressed each concern promptly and with professionalism. The family in our unit before us cooked something with a very pungent smell that lingered. When I contact Jill about this, she had the cleaners back promptly and also delivered a diffuser with essential oils to appease us.

It was our first stay at Honua Kai and we will be back.

One tip -- Duke's (the adjacent restaurant on the beach) is pricey, especially for families with picky eaters. But they offer an Aloha Hour (i.e. Happy Hour) each day from 3-5. The drink and food deals may also be purchased poolside from your server! I didn't know that until the end of our trip.

Excellent stay! Wonderful unit!

Could not agree more with the other reviews. My husband and twin teenage sons all had plenty of room. The den was a must for us. The unit was clean well appointed and we loved the lanai views of the mountains and ocean. Jill and her team were wonderful. We will be back again next year!

My wife (Liliana) and I fell in love with this property the moment we set foot on it in March (2013). We weren't even planning on buying a unit here, but after further consideration, we decided that we could exchange our San Diego investment property for one out here on this gorgeous island, allowing ourselves a 'reason' to visit Maui on a regular basis! We have visited Maui numerous times before, but previously we had stayed mostly in the Wailea area. When our local friend recommended we stay at Honua Kai, we took his advice, and as they say ... the rest is history!

Honua Kai is the first whole ownership development built on Ka'anapali Beach in more than 25 years. From its opening in 2009, Honua Kai has become the latest and finest resort and residential property in West Maui.
